The interview between Mo’Nique and Steve Harvey is finally out.
Of course, Steve asked Mo’Nique about her controversial comments about Oprah Winfrey, Lee Daniels and Tyler Perry.
To refresh your memory, Mo’Nique invited all three to suck her d*ck during a standup show.
Steve claimed that he understands that Mo’Nique feels she deserves to paid more as an Oscar-winning actress, but he feels like she went about getting that the wrong way.
And while Steve feels like it wasn’t wrong for Mo’Nique to ask to be paid to promote “Precious” internationally, Steve feels like she should have approached the situation in a more loving way.
Steve also said that he doesn’t think Mo’Nique should have risked her livelihood to make a statement because her family has to eat.
He then confirmed Mo’Nique has been blackballed. But he feels she should apologize to Oprah, Tyler and Lee for what she said during her standup show.
The interview ended after Steve told Mo’Nique he would now get in touch with all three to make sure they hash out their issues privately and then come out publicly to defend Mo’Nique’s reputation afterwards.
