Season 4 of “Queen Sugar” premieres in June.
In season 3, Charley continued to make business moves that didn’t sit well with Nova and the rest of the family.
However, Nova had her own demons to deal with as she began a secret romance with Charley’s ex, Remy.
When Charley learned of the relationship, she confronted both Remy and Nova with the harshest of words.
Nova then decided it would be best to end the relationship.
So she decided to put her focus into writing her book, but now it appears her book will cause problems in season 4.
Apparently, Nova ends up divulging a lot of painful family secrets.
And when her family reads what she had to say, she ends up hurting her relationships with just about everyone. But Nova feels being truthful can help an entire community.
Ralph Angel is now in a good place with Darla. After they decide to end their custody battle over Blue, a friendship can bloom between them.
When Darla goes through a traumatic situation, it’s Ralph Angel who gives her comfort and support.
Davis brings the daughter he conceived outside of his marriage to Charley for the family to meet.
And someone from Aunt Vi’s past returns.
