A tattoo convention approaches.
Ryan is exhausted. He’s been busy preparing for the upcoming tattoo convention in Chicago.
Despite the lawsuit, Van is still expected to be a part of the 9Mag booth.
Since Charmaine is no longer there, Gina tells Ryan that things should be more organized.
It’s Charmaine’s 25th birthday party.
Danielle has everyone surprise her for drinks. Ryan, Van, Don, Ashley, and Phor are there too.
In a green screen interview, she says Neek isn’t there and she’s not going to tell him she was with the gang. He doesn’t want her around them anymore because he feels like they didn’t have her back in the Lily situation.
She tells the gang that she still needs a break from 9Mag.
Lily is discussed and Van says that he’s tired of fighting with Lily. Of course, Charmaine understands the feeling.
Don asks Charmaine if she’s coming back to the shop. She says no but she still loves them.
Lily, Slam, and Bella catch up.
Bella says she’s struggling as a single mother. At this point, she is considering getting child support from her ex. But Lily tells her to remember that could send her ex to prison.
Bella breaks down in tears and says that she’s been waiting for her ex to step up for two years.
The other two women console her.
It’s the day of the tattoo convention.
Lily wasn’t asked to be at the 9Mag booth so she’s going to set up at Reese’s booth.
Reese left after the drama with Junior in Jamaica. She accused Junior of hitting her during the street brawl, but footage proved he never touched her.
Junior pops up.
He says he’s been meditating and getting therapy since leaving 9Mag.
His girlfriend Adriana is with him and they are just spectators for the day.
Junior stops by the 9Mag booth to speak to Ryan.
In a green screen interview, Junior says he decided not to work at the new 9Mag because of all the drama that went down in the past. He doesn’t want to be caught up in any more negativity at this point.
Cobra is there too.
She and Lily talk about Reese.
They hope the drama from Jamaica won’t follow them to the convention.
When Junior and Van see each other it’s all love. They hug and laugh.
Van says he misses Junior but he understands why Junior decided not to come back.
So he gives Junior a heads up about Reese being there. In a green screen interview, Van says Cobra was the one who convinced Reese that Junior hit her. Even when producers played back the video that vindicated Junior, Cobra insisted that it happened anyway.
Van tells Junior this and recommends he stays away from Cobra and Reese.
Junior and Adriana stroll the convention and see Lily setting up.
It’s clear Adriana isn’t done with Lily but she’s waiting for a later time to settle things.
So they keep walking and say nothing to her.
Back at the old shop, Bella updates Don.
She tells him she heard from her daughter’s ex.
They have agreed to meet and talk things out.
Minutes later, her ex’s sister comes to the shop. She tells Bella that her ex changed his mind last minute and wanted her to come instead.
Bella is disappointed because she wanted her daughter to see her father.
Now she has to seriously consider putting him on child support.
Reese avoids Junior.
Junior tells Adriana he wants to have a conversation with Reese. So he walks up to her booth.
But Reese walks away and refuses to talk. Adriana calls her a liar as she shields her face from the cameras.
Junior then meets up with Cobra to talk.
When they get outside, Cobra still insists that Junior hit Reese.
Junior says the footage proves he’s innocent.
But Cobra says she knows what she saw.
Junior calls her a liar and they start arguing.
Cobra says Junior slandered her but all Junior wants is for her to apologize and admit she was wrong.
“You lying sack of sh*t.” – Junior
Realizing the conversation is going nowhere, Junior storms off.
Lily and Adriana go at it, again.
He and Adriana talk about Lily and Reese while Lily is close by tattooing.
She decides to stop and walk over to them to confront them. She tells them they need to leave. An argument ensues between Adriana and Lily and they have to be restrained by security.
Not too long after, Adriana pulls Lily’s hair from behind and both women end up hair pulling on the floor as Ryan looks on in disgust.
What are your thoughts on the episode?
If it takes TWO why is Bella raising her daughter on her own?… ???#BlackInkCHI pic.twitter.com/TLtqxxyOmO
