Ja Rule’s kids impress.
The series begins with Ja Rule enjoying his home in New York. His daughter Brittney is home. Ja’s impressed with his daughter’s business acumen. She got home after graduating from Hampton. Ironically, Ja Rule’s business acumen is considered by many to be lacking after the Fyre Festival fiasco.
However, he’s looking to redeem himself. He’s planning the Murder Inc reunion tour with Irv Gotti. His son Jeffrey joins them in the kitchen. Brittney calls Jeff a mini version of Ja. Jeff wants to get into music like his dad but Ja wants him to focus on school first.
Brittney and Jeff scoff at Ja’s idea of also looking to create another music festival. Brittney says this could also go really bad just like the Fyre Festival. This one is going to be called Iconic Fest.
Irv Gotti’s son wants to keep his arrest on the low.
Next, Irv Gotti is at home bragging on his career. His son JJ just got home. Unfortunately, JJ was arrested after being caught with weed. Apparently, he was caught making an illegal lane change. It also means JJ will have to face the anger of Irv.
JJ denies smoking weed in the car and said his friend left the drugs in his car. Interestingly enough, Irv brings up how he had his own legal troubles with federal authorities. JJ wants to just keep the arrest with Irv between them and Irv reluctantly agrees.
Things get awkward when Irv then asks JJ to not have s*x in his bedroom.
Next, JoJo Simmons is in the studio with artists he’s hoping to pop off on his label. Flava Flav’s daughter Da’zyna AKA Kushy stops by. She’s managing her brother Flee’s career and she brought him by to work on a song with JoJo.
It’s inspired by their dad’s show “Flavor of Love.”
Kushy isn’t cool with her dad right now, however. It hit the blogs and tabloids that Flava and Kushy had a physical altercation in Las Vegas. Flee wants to get him to rap on the track but they can’t get in touch with Flava.
After they play a song for JoJo, JoJo’s impressed by the track and he invites them to his event to promote his label.
JoJo tells them to leave the past in the past if they want to work with Flav.
ODB’s son YDB is a spitting image.
JoJo made it to his condo to hang with his daughter and fiancé Tanice. Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son Young Dirty Bastard stops by. YDB’s performing with his dad’s group Wu-Tang Clan. It’s the 36th anniversary of their debut album and he truly is his father’s son. Right now, YDB has six kids with two different women.
Interestingly, he wants more baby momma’s. One of them he met on Instagram and when he flew her out to Brooklyn, he told her she’s going to have his baby.
In the studio, Fat Joe’s son Ryan AKA Ryso Valley is making music. He helps his father Fat Joe run their shoe store in New York City but Ryan wishes his dad was more supportive of his music.
Ryan’s been making music since he was 3. When Fat Joe stops by his studio session, Ryan plays him his latest tracks. He says Fat Joe has really high standards as they’re fighting the notion rapper kids aren’t as good as their parents.
The song “Say Less” could be a hit to Joe but it needs polishing and a dope visual.
Vina Love and her aunt head into a s*x novelty store. Vina’s Kid Kapri’s daughter and she’s following in her dad’s footsteps. Her aunt Medina is her manager and they are dealing with her dad who’s her biggest critic. Kid Kapri’s very critical of her image.
Irv Gotti argues with his ex-wife.
It’s JJ’s 20th birthday and Irv’s taking him to one of the hottest restaurants in NYC. Ja Rule brought his family to the dinner as their kids are all really close. Irv’s other daughter Angie showed up. Angie’s relationship with Irv is a bit strained as they disagree on various business ideas.
Things get a bit tense when Irv begins to argue with his ex-wife Deb about whether or not their kids are going to the strip club.
Ja Rule mentions that Irv and Deb are complete opposites and Angie says Irv could be more mature. Irv notes that his ex may not want his sons to follow in Irv’s footsteps. JJ really doesn’t want to tell anyone about the drug charge now.
After dinner, Angie and JJ hang out in the city. Angie feels JJ’s coddled by Irv. Meanwhile, she feels like she was pushed by her dad to be independent. He doesn’t bring up the arrest but Angie notices something’s wrong. This angers her and JJ knows Angie’s angry. He feels they can be too dramatic and knows the arrest news won’t be good for him.
Vina Love’s having a photoshoot with the outfits she picked out overseen by Medina. Kid Kapri stops by and is furious with the revealing outfits. He tells Vina that anyone who’s selling s*x will only be around for a short time. However, relying on her talent will keep her in the business longer.
Medina says her s*x appeal is part of her image and will help her sell. Ultimately, Kid Kapri tells Vina Love its ultimately up to her but advises to not show too much.

The next day, Ja Rule and Irv Gotti stopped by The Breakfast Club morning show and they talk about their tour and the failed Fyre Festival. The tour is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Murder Inc.
Later that night, JoJo’s hosting his label party and the cast is stoping by making appearances. When Flee and Kushy come by, JoJo asks about Flava Flav. Kushy’s mum about this. Jeff and JJ link up and JJ’s still not talking about his arrest. Jeff knows about it and asks JJ about it. Brittney overhears this and tells JJ to come clean, which he does.
The news surprises and disappoints her. She grills both of them, telling them both to be smarter.
The party rages on and YDB notices Kushy. YDB says he would love to put a baby in her. JoJo takes Kushy and Flee to speak with YDB. Kushy and YDB seem to hit it off which rubs his sister the wrong way. This doesn’t stop the two from exchanging contact info.
Meanwhile, Kushy’s brothers step outside and call Flav. Unfortunately, it goes straight to voicemail. Brittney tells Angie what happened to JJ later at the party which makes Angie furious.
Angie then heads over to JJ and Jeff to talk about the elephant in the room. JJ tells Angie they’ll talk about it later and he’s real nervous his mom will find out next.
Lastly, Kushy and Brittney talk and Kushy brings up the Fyre Festival which irritates Brittney. When Brittney pushes back and calls her annoying, the episode ends with the two arguing about it.
