Things get emotional for Moniece.
Moniece tells Apryl that her issue is with Fizz, not with her. And all she wants is respect from Fizz and whoever he dates. Fizz walks up to join the conversation. After Apryl and Moniece have some tension, Fizz asks to speak to Moniece alone. Apryl then walks away, and Fizz says that he will only talk to Moniece about their son before walking away.
When Fizz gets back inside the skating rink, he tells Apryl that he didn’t get in Moniece’s business when she was dating AD. Jason tells Moniece that when people live in their truth like him and Moniece, they are called crazy. Meanwhile, Fizz and Apryl kept up a facade the whole time.
Moniece breaks down crying and says Fizz has always publicly disrespected her and she could have filed for full custody all the times Fizz was at his lowest. But she never did while Fizz continues to mistreat her.
The music industry is frustrating for Brittany B.
Brittany B. is in the studio with Asian Doll making music. She tells Asian Doll that she’s focusing on her own music now although she’s written songs for other artists. In a green screen interview, she talks about having to deal with colorism in the music industry. She wishes people made it from talent alone and not their looks.
Lyrica has things to think over.
A1 makes his play date with Lyrica and Ocean romantic. They meet up at the park and A1 has a man play the violin for them. The former couple talks and A1 says he just wants his family back. But Lyrica isn’t sure that A1 can back up his words with actions. So she points out the fact that A1 still has two phones and she sees he’s getting DMs from many random women. Lyrica says she doesn’t DM men and A1 needs to get an assistant to check his DMs for him and not engage women who only want to sleep with him.
A1 suggests Lyrica comes back home for a “trial” so he can show her that he’s serious. She doesn’t even have to move back in officially yet.
Jason interviews Moniece.
Moniece goes to Hollywood Unlocked to speak her mind. Before they get started, Jason apologizes for their s-xtape situation a few years ago. They then discuss Apryl and Fizz. Moniece says her issue is the lying and Fizz even has their son lying to her now.
There’s a new woman in Zell’s life.
Zell and Star Divine meet Micky and Slick at the beach. In a green screen interview, Zell says he’s dating Star. And Star and Micky have known each other for years.
They discuss Apryl and Fizz. Zell says he feels bad for Moniece but he is glad that Apryl and Fizz can live in their truth.
Zell and Star discuss their relationship. Star says Zell is the first bis*xual man she’s been with it. As for Zell, he’s ready to settle down since he’s 31 years old. And he’s comfortable with who he is.
Apple, Yo-Yo and Brittany B. catch up.
Yo-Yo is back in the studio. She hasn’t recorded music in ten years. Apple and Brittany B. come by to support. In a green screen interview, Yo-Yo says she is a little nervous because she’s not sure how her music will perform commercially.
They then discuss Apple’s failed meeting with Yo-Yo’s associate. She wants to be able to do whatever she wants on her social media accounts. But she believes when the time is right, things will fall in place as they should.
All three women agree to make some music together.
A1 clashes with Lyrica and her mom.
Lyrica is headlining the Pre-Espy’s event. She’s really excited and she decides to shop to find the right outfit. When her mother Lyrica G. asks if A1 will be there, Lyrica says that A1 will be there to help her backstage.
Her mother isn’t feeling the idea A1 had of Lyrica coming back to live at the house for a trial period. She tells Lyrica to really think things through and to not lower her standards.
Fizz and Apryl discuss Moniece.
Apryl and Fizz have moved into their new place together. They say they are happy and wish people would let them be. Both saw Moniece’s interview and her comments caused blogs to report that Apryl is pregnant. But she’s not pregnant and they just want Moniece to stop speaking about them.
A1 shows up to Lyrica’s soundcheck. He ends up clashing with the sound tech man. This irritates Lyrica’s mom. Both she and Lyrica then call out A1 for his behavior professionally and as a husband. It doesn’t take long before A1 feels like he’s being double-teamed.
Teairra supports Moniece.
Moniece gets a visit from Teairra. They discuss Apryl and Fizz. All Moniece wants is respect and a positive co-parenting relationship with Fizz. She thinks it’s hypocritical for Apryl to sit back and support Fizz mistreating her when she has the same issues with Omarion.
