Angela’s boiling with anger on the way to Romeo’s party.
The episode continues with Angela going off about Romeo’s comments she heard about from JoJo. JoJo was hoping Angela and Romeo would be able to sit down and squash whatever beef between them. However, Angela felt weird about even going because Romeo didn’t even directly invite her, even though Romeo asked Vanessa to throw the party for him.
Meanwhile, Tee Tee showed up to the party first to see Vanessa setting up for the last-minute party. Vanessa says she feels like she’s in the middle of Angela and Romeo. Eventually, the cast and their friends show up dressed up in the theme of the Roaring ’20s.
Back in their limo, Angela is still going off about Romeo. JoJo tells Angela Romeo specifically feels some type of way about not getting responses from Angela about the Bible verses he sends out. This just makes Angela even more frustrated.
Angela’s friend Katrina arrives at the party and she’s just as irritated with Romeo as Angela is. In fact, Katrina wants Romeo to give Angela an explanation as Angela reached out but never got a response.
Eventually, Angela and JoJo arrive and they all await Romeo to show up. He’s running 45 minutes late. At this point, Angela’s ready to leave already but first, she expresses her frustration with Vanessa about Romeo and his feelings. Vanessa immediately knows Angela’s angry and ready to explode on Romeo.
Boogie shades Dame and Pepa receives news about a lawsuit.
On a lighter note, Dame Dash shows up with Raquel and Boogie greets them both. In his interview, Boogie notes Raquel’s pregnancy, stating Dame usually has kids every 5 – 10 years.
JoJo speaks to Tee Tee and Vanessa about the beef with Angela and Romeo. JoJo’s frustrated as he doesn’t want to be in the middle of this and he’s not trying to spread gossip. Angela walks over and Vanessa tries to get Angela not to go off on Romeo when he arrives but this may be too little, too late.
Meanwhile, Pepa’s getting ready to perform and gets a notification about Spinderella suing Salt-n-Pepa. She’s disappointed about it but she can’t say too much. Egypt calls her to check on her mom.
Egypt’s really worried about her mom and is concerned that this is going to devastate her. But Pepa tells Egypt she’s going to handle it and everything will be okay.
Romeo shows up late and brushes off Angela.
Back at Romeo’s party, the cast as a whole is shocked to hear about Angela and Romeo’s beef. Boogie jokes with Angela about the situation, saying Romeo must have a girl. So Boogie wants to warn Romeo about this. Eventually, Romeo shows up to the party almost 2 hours late and greets Briana and Boogie who warns him about the heat from Angela.
Romeo’s cordial with everyone and greeting just about everyone and Angela gives him the stank eye. She’s going to check him right there and Romeo really doesn’t know what to expect. JoJo notices that Angela isn’t going to handle this well. Instead of saying hello, Angela asks him what is your problem. Romeo doesn’t want to talk about it and this makes Angela even angrier. He then brushes her off, telling her they don’t date.
Angela walks out of the party angry while Romeo wants the music at the party turned up to distract him from the “tornado that hit him.” Meanwhile, Boogie and Dame talk and Dame reveals his daughter Ava isn’t talking to him. He’s frustrated with that and Boogie notes it’s what happens when you have three baby mamas with a baby on the way.
Outside, Vanessa listens to Angela go off about Romeo giving her the cold shoulder. In fact, Angela’s ready to block him. Later, Romeo asks JoJo about Angela stepping to him with anger. JoJo goes off on Romeo about this situation, telling Romeo he needed to tell Angela exactly what he told Vanessa.
JoJo goes off.
As they wait for the car outside, Angela’s taking off her mic, furious Romeo brushed her off. The two were long-time friends and created the show. JoJo’s furious too, venting to Vanessa and Vanessa hates being in the middle of everything. Eventually, Vanessa suggests leaving and JoJo reluctantly leaves.
He’s now outside, going off about Romeo and snapping on producers with Boogie listening. JoJo yells at Boogie that if he had a problem with Boogie, he’s not going to tell anyone else about it. He’s going straight to Boogie. Master P walks in and sees JoJo going off. Master P doesn’t have much time to figure out what’s going on as he’s with his daughter and her group ready to perform. Inside, Romeo says he has “good vibes.” In his interview, Romeo says if JoJo has any issue with how he feels, JoJo can call him.
Angela comes out to see JoJo going off and at this point, JoJo reveals how Romeo has been distant to everyone when the cameras aren’t rolling, calling him fake. Dame Dash calls all of this bubblegum and says this isn’t the way he would handle this, blaming it on a generation gap.
Boogie then jokingly asks Romeo why JoJo’s mad at him. Romeo says it is what it is and he’s celebrating life. Dame jumps in and says whatever it is, JoJo is tripping. So Romeo needs to talk to Jojo when things cool down. But Boogie finds it odd Romeo’s bushing Angela and JoJo off like they don’t mean anything to him. Meanwhile, Tee Tee brushes off Lil Eazy E’s attempts to flirt with her. But she does reveal she’s dating a man named Sean. Despite the Simmons’ anger, the party continues without another issue. Briana and Twist get ready to leave and they run into Angela outside. While Twist’s talking to Angela, Briana greets Angela.
Both ladies exchange pleasantries and agree to sit down and have tea with one another. Angela says it’s been a long time coming and she’s ready to clear the air with her. Briana’s excited to do this but worries it can go bad.
The next day, Romeo’s leaving and explains why he unfollowed Angela. He says he unfollowed everyone and did it to focus on himself.
