Reginae Carter’s on and off romance with rapper YFN Lucci was a controversial one. So it’s probably no surprise she decided to walk away for good after she felt he had too much fun at a cucumber party put together by Boosie.
After all of the drama, her mother Toya Johnson doesn’t want Reginae to date another rapper ever again.
During their recent interview with the Breakfast Club, Toya said, “At the end of the day, I want her to be happy. I don’t want her to just be out here settling, allowing guys to disrespect her. That was our issue before. And you live and you learn. You grow. And I’m so glad she matured enough to now she sees, she understands, she knows what she wants. But whenever the right guy comes, I’m just praying that he’s respectful. Treats her like a queen and all of those things. And it’s not no rapper.”
When it was said that may not be fair since Reginae’s father is Lil Wayne, Toya refused to back down. She said, “No rappers. That’s enough of rappers.”
