Britten’s shocked to learn about Imani’s divorce desire.
Imani tells Britten that she told Phil that she wants a divorce. And he didn’t seem to take issue with this. According to Imani, they were having problems for a while. And they grew up. Imani was going to give Phil a year to show him that he wants to be with her. But she feels Phil’s business move to Oklahoma was a passive way for him to end the relations.
She breaks down in tears and Britten consoles her.
With everything going on, Imani decides to skip Shanique’s birthday festivities.
Jazmin shocks everyone.
Dr. Robert has everyone get together to ride horses for Shanique’s birthday get together. She’s excited to see everyone there to celebrate her special day.
When everyone gets together to have dinner, Jazmin gets up and asks to take the cornbread Kendra put on her plate away. Everyone else is shocked. But Kendra reluctantly lets her take it. Kendra asked Jazmin to help her lose weight and she seemingly knew what she was getting into.
As for Britten, she calls Jazmin out for this. Regardless, Jazmin defense her actions and says that she takes this seriously.

After she told Phil that she wants a divorce, Phil asks her to send him all of his things do he doesn’t have to come back. He seems completely unbothered by her drove request. So they decided for him to come back home to handle things. And Paula suggests that Phil FaceTimes so they can tell Idris they are getting a divorce.
Dr. Hobart’s frustrated with Dr. Kendra.
Dr. Hobart and Dr. Kendra are out on a date when Hobart learns about Kendra’s new job opportunity. Not only did Kendra go on an interview, but she also received a job offer. Kendra says she has a passion for medicine and wanted to go back to work. However, Hobart’s frustrated Kendra went back on their deal regarding her not to work soon after giving birth.
Meanwhile, Dr. Britten and Mack have Shanique and Dr. Robert babysits as they go out to rekindle their romance.

After Imani gets with the other women, she tells them about her book. She took multiple photos for the cover and wants the ladies to select the one they like best. All of the photos seemingly look the same in the first set and no one likes Imani’s outfit. But for the next set of photos, they love it. Even Jazmin and Lia agreed on the best photo. Things take a left turn when Shaniuque asks if Imani’s husband saw the photos.
