Reginae Carter has had to grow up in the spotlight thanks to being the daughter of one of the most successful rappers of all time. And while being Lil Wayne’s daughter has its perks, it also comes with its annoyances as well. For Reginae, one of the biggest annoyances is the constant public scrutiny.
She addresses a good bit of it on “Friends And Family Hustle.” Reginae received a lot of criticism for her past romance with rapper YFN Lucci. But she also gets a lot of criticism on social media for things like her looks and her body.
This is pretty standard for most people who have a big following on social media.
In fact, social media has given people an easy outlet to voice their criticism to public figures. Some public figures are tired of people coming for their looks on a regular basis.
Reginae is sick of it as well. So she had a lot to say in response to those who feel the need to criticize her body. But she also wants people to understand the importance of loving themselves and not feeling pressured to get any work done. As of right now, Reginae feels as if young women are all now expected to look a certain way. And if they don’t, people expect them to go get work done on their bodies.
Reginae is not here for this way of thinking, so she decided it was time to clap back.
