Cece and Kristen had a nasty fallout.
“Basketball Wives” fans have had plenty to say on social media after Kristen Scott fell out with Cece Gutierrez and Byron Scott. It all went down after Kristen accused Byron of not seeing his granddaughter. Byron denied the accusations and said that the real issue is neither Kristen nor Thomas Scott bring the child to see him.
Things only got worse after Kristen blamed Cece for the demise of her relationship with Byron. Cece would later tell OG that Bryon isn’t Thomas’ biological father and OG repeated this during an argument.
So Kristen believed Cece shared the information to be spiteful.
During the cast trip to Costa Rica, Kristen attempted to hash things out with Cece. But they didn’t get far because Cece was over it. Plus, Evelyn Lozada made things worse when she tried to run up on Cece from behind. OG intervened and prevented things from getting violent.
After that, the lines were drawn. And Byron made it clear that he didn’t want to invite Kristen to the wedding. But he still had plans of inviting Thomas.
Kristen opens up about Byron and Cece’s wedding.
Even after filming for the recent season wrapped up, Kristen confirmed that she was still on icy terms with Byron. So many suspected that she wouldn’t be attending the wedding. The wedding happened a few days ago, and there are no pictures of Kristen nor Thomas in attendance. But OG made people believe that she attended when she posted photos of her own to social media.
So some fans of the show took to social media to slam Kristen after the wedding took place. They believe Kristen burned bridges with her family to be accepted by Evelyn and Shaunie O’Neal. As a result of this opinion, Kristen has been receiving a lot of backlash.
Interestingly enough, she did address Cece and Byron’s big day recently after a follower asked her if she went to the wedding. In response, Kristen wrote, “I did not, but she looked beautiful and I wish them nothing but happiness! I pray God continues to bless them and their marriage!”
