Candiace has support from Gizelle.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard’s feud with Monique Samuels is one for the books. In fact, they even got into a physical altercation while filming the current season. Outraged by the attack, Candiace was ready to face off in court. However, all charges were dismissed.
Although things won’t be moving forward legally, the situation has had a lingering effect on the cast.
Rumor has it Gizelle Bryant was trying to use the situation to push Monique off the show. In a trailer for the season, Gizelle even said she doesn’t want to be around Monique anymore.
In Gizelle’s opinion, what Monique did was a bad look for the show. And the cast has always tried to “stay above the stereotypes.” But Monique has now made that much harder to do.
Karen and Candiace are at odds.
Monique clapped back recently and said Gizelle is being a hypocrite. She also thinks Gizelle is an unhappy person who needs to learn how to love herself. However, Gizelle wasn’t necessarily alone in her opinion.
Robyn Dixon has also said that she believes Monique was wrong in how she handled the situation. And it should have never gotten violent.
But it’s rumored both Karen Huger and Ashley Darby aren’t exactly Team Candiace. So it was also rumored that this didn’t sit well with Candiace. And she ends up clashing with Karen about this by the end of the season. Perhaps this is why Candiace had some shade to throw Karen’s way on social media.
