Jennifer and Evelyn were close until they started filming “Basketball Wives.”
“Basketball Wives” stars Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada used to be very close friends. However, after their first major fallout on the show years ago, it’s been hard for them to fully recover. On the latest season of the show, Jennifer was accused of making messy comments about Evelyn’s daughter. And it alleged that she said Shanice was a “latchkey kid.”
Jennifer denied saying any of this. But Shaunie O’Neal and the others said that Jennifer wasn’t being honest.
Evelyn would eventually get so upset about these alleged comments that she tried to run up on Jennifer. So at this point, it’s clear that the two women won’t be attempting to mend things again.
Evelyn was discussed in Jennifer’s recent interview.
Jennifer also ended up being at odds with Shaunie for comments she made about Shaquille O’Neal. Shaunie didn’t like that Jennifer brought up the fact that Shaq wasn’t faithful. While Jennifer couldn’t understand why Shaunie was upset, Shaunie felt it was disrespectful. So Jennifer was somewhat pushed out of their group. However, she remained on good terms with OG, Jackie Christie, and Cece Scott.
This is one of the reasons Jennifer side-eyed Evelyn’s lawsuit against OG.
During a recent interview with “Love & Marriage: Huntsville” Executive Producer Carlos King, Jennifer discussed Evelyn. When she was asked if they could ever get back on track, Jennifer said she doesn’t see this happening. And she explained why while making it crystal clear that she’s completely over trying to save the friendship.
