It’s been an emotional rollercoaster for the current cast of “Marriage Boot Camp.” When it comes to Vado and Tahiry Jose, no one was expecting things to go down the way they did. But Dr. Ish Major was forced to make some important decisions. And ultimately Vado was removed from the house.
Tahiry understood this. She said, “I understand why Vado was removed from the house. I totally get it, I understand. When it comes to a man, I feel like you have to lead by action. It is until you show them with action that it clicks. Not only that but it’ll send the wrong message to him that what he did was right and everybody in that house.”
Tahiry would later reveal that she had been assaulted by men before in the past. And on one occasion, she was punched in the face by a man at a fashion show.
Dr. Ish has more to say.
Regardless, some viewers still felt as if it wasn’t fair that Tahiry didn’t appear to be held accountable for her actions. And they questioned why both Tahiry and Vado just weren’t kicked out of the program.
Dr. Ish addressed this on Twitter. He wrote, “Having both of them leave the program does NEITHER of them any good. Not helping each of them individually work through it means they lose a chance to grow. And we’re not here to stay stuck.”
He added, “Tahiry’s violent behavior was addressed at length too. Sadly that talk didn’t make it to air.”
