Imani’s divorce was a focal point.

The ladies of “Married to Medicine LA” ladies wrapped up their second season recently. For Dr. Imani Walker, it wasn’t an easy one. She actually went through the process of divorcing her husband Phil Johnson. They were not on the best terms when Phil relocated to Oklahoma to start a weed dispensary business. However, the business move would only make things worse between them.

In fact, Phil didn’t really seem to miss Imani much. And when she offered to come see him, he told her he was too busy working.

Imani would later open up a lot about their marriage to the other women. Turns out they haven’t been intimate in five years.

Another source of drama was with Jazmin Johnson. Since it was another season of her husband Dr. Gadson Johnson not appearing on the show, others on the cast began to have some questions. But Jazmin would defend him not being on the show. And she said she has the right to only show what she wants to.

Then, of course, there was the feud between Lia Dias and Shanique Drummond. Things went so left between them that it was later revealed Shannique launched at Lia in a deleted scene.

The LA ladies also clashed with the Atlanta cast.

Fans of the show also remember that plenty of drama also went down when the Atlanta ladies came through. During a cocktail party, Dr. Kendra Segura went off on Dr. Heavenly Kimes. This was a result of Heavenly’s interest in the size of Dr. Hobart Leung’s “manhood.”

Dr. Britten Cole also clashed with Quad Webb at the same shindig.

Despite all of this, the LA cast did not get a reunion. And some of the women on the show are wondering why.

The reunion is not happening because there is not enough drama. Also because the show is not well known.

I think many people forgot about the show after seaon 1 and 2 did not help matters.

Ps great to see positive black women

Until they do the right thing by Mariah ALL these shows will fail. By Not standing up for Mariah you are helping BRavo pave the way to do BLACK any kind of way or get away with it! #ISTANDWEMARIAH

Pretty much. I like the LA cast a lot better than the Atlanta one but it is what it is.

While I understand that Mariah was responsible for bringing the women together to cast the show you still have to be humble.

No ma’am. We’re not going to do that today. None of the black women on that show are humble. And you know what? They don’t have to be. Telling black women to be humble is rooted in racism and respectability politics. You don’t see the most successful rich white men being told to be humble. So stop it.

Nothing ronstand up for her for..she did not make herself invincible. She gave a creative concept but did not invent it. She needed to make her points in her contract she didnt and there was room to release her ok bye…she didnt bring a lot to the show anyway…tooo pretentious and her mother was an embarrasmment acting like she did on tv..taking the mama bear act too far sorry dont miss her

D, you need to stop listening to Heavenly and Quad. They are liars. Mariah created the show, and that includes coming up with the concept. There’d be no Married to Medicine without her, so that means her contribution is the greatest. Lastly, Mariah stipulated several things in her contract that weren’t honored, including having power of the franchise she created. This happens to black people in the TV business all the time. And people like you don’t have enough sense to see the issue. You’re too busy being offended by silliness you saw on the show and take petty TV drama too personally. So your agenda is hating Mariah only. Cool. You will see the Atlanta show struggle next season. This franchise is dying and it certainly isn’t Mariah’s fault. Her ideas made it a success though.

In my opinion Dr. HEAVENLY always says the wrong thing. I don’t know if she thinks it cute or she needs attention that much. She is a dentist, so I know she is intelligent but she always put that mouth in where it does not belong. You will be noticed my dear.

The Atlanta girls need to worry too after the massive drop in ratings the LA girls just had. This whole franchise is in trouble.
