Candiace is no stranger to drama.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard has had plenty of drama on the show. As of right now, she’s currently in the middle of a very nasty feud with Monique Samuels. In fact, things got violent while they were filming the current season. This has outraged Candiace. So she’s been throwing lots of jabs at Monique for months now. It’s pretty clear that the two women may never be able to put aside their differences as even being in the same room together isn’t something they want at this point.
While Candiace may be no stranger to having arguments and conflicts on the show, it’s clear that the most touchy situations have been with her mother Dorothy, and husband Chris Bassett.
When she has disagreements with both, it’s very emotional for her.
Candiace was afraid to tell her mother about Chris’ oldest child.
And when it comes to Chris, he has no problem speaking his mind to Candiace. This hurts her feelings, but Chris never backs down. This could be one of the reasons she’s drawn to the relationship.
So when she had to tell her mother Dorothy about Chris having an older child who’s not in his life, Candiace was afraid to reveal this. She thought her mother would start looking down on Chris.
While talking to her mother, Candiace said, “So you know that Chris has two kids? What I did not tell you is that he actually has an older son.”
She would go on to tell Dorothy that Chris’ son is around 14 years old.
The revelation would lead to some fans of the show assuming that Chris is a deadbeat father. Well, he responded when someone made this accusation recently on social media.
