The latest season of GUHH was controversial for Romeo.
Romeo Miller’s last season on “Growing Up Hip Hop” was full of drama. Unfortunately for Romeo, his fallout with Angela Simmons caused a chain reaction. After he went to Vanessa Simmons to speak his mind about Angela, it didn’t sit well with the Simmons. In fact, the siblings couldn’t understand why Romeo just couldn’t go to Angela about the issues he had with her.
And as the drama unfolded, Romeo decided he needed to take a step back away from the others. But when he was ready to hash things out, the Simmons family didn’t show up to the sit-down meeting.
Romeo and Master P also took issue with the jokes Lil Twist made about ICDC College. Eventually, the father and son decided it was time to walk away from the show. In fact, Master P even felt like GUHH had changed way too much. And the show had become too much like “Love And Hip Hop.”
Romeo received criticism.
While many viewers understood Romeo’s actions, others were critical. They began to call Romeo out on social media, too. With Romeo being so vocal about his religious beliefs and Angela’s Instagram activities, he was accused of being hypocritical. This was something that Romeo denied. He also said that “Growing Up Hip Hop” didn’t necessarily show the real version of him.
Interestingly enough, Romeo once again addressed some criticism recently on social media. And he responded after someone insinuated that he grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth.
