NeNe Leakes had a tough final season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star NeNe Leakes has had many ups and downs while being on the show. In fact, she was the last standing original. However, she didn’t see her exit coming. On the recent season, NeNe clashed quite a bit with Kenya Moore. Kenya has been upset with NeNe ever since NeNe questioned if Kenya was pregnant with a buffalo. She felt as if NeNe was taking a shot at her daughter Brooklyn Daly.
NeNe denied that she was going after Brooklyn and she was instead coming for Kenya’s size during her pregnancy. Regardless, Kenya was done with NeNe at this point. Although NeNe thought they could move on from it, they didn’t. So Kenya wasn’t sad to see NeNe leave the show.
Gregg Leakes continues to have NeNe Leakes’ back.
As for NeNe’s exit, she complained about the contract negotiations process. It was reported that NeNe was asked to do a smaller amount of episodes for season 13. She felt this was disrespectful and decided to not sign the contract she was offered.
NeNe felt she was being mistreated because she’s a black woman. And she called out Andy Cohen repeatedly on social media. After she accused Andy of being racist, it seems as if the bridge may have been burned for the former friends.
And it looks like NeNe may also be done with someone else, too. In fact, her husband Gregg Leakes penned a subliminal message.
