Ashley Darby put Karen Huger on blast.
On the recent episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” Karen Huger found herself in the middle of a mess she wasn’t exactly ready for. And Ashley Darby was the one who put Karen on the spot. While the ladies were in Portugal, Karen invited them to her wig launch party. When Robyn Dixon asked her if Monique was also invited, Karen said no. This of course made all the others feel comfortable about attending the event.
When the women arrived back in Maryland, Ashley met up with Monique. And Monique revealed that Karen did actually invite her to the wig launch party. However, she didn’t really want to go. At this point, Ashley told Monique that Karen told them that she wasn’t invited.
Ashley then pulled out her phone and called Karen. She put her on speakerphone and asked if Karen recalled telling everyone that she didn’t invite Monique to her launch. Karen then said that she actually told everyone that Monique said that she didn’t want to come.
After Monique made it clear that she wasn’t going to hold anything against Karen, Ashley decided to let it go. However, this came back up at the launch. Ashley told the others that Monique was asked to come to the event early before it started. Candiace then said that Karen told her to come early as well. At this point, Ashley said that Monique had no idea that Karen wanted Candiace to also come early. And Karen told Monique to come to the event and speak up for herself.
Ashley Darby isn’t worried about the criticism.
Fans of the show felt as if Ashley was being messy. And they aren’t sure which side she’s actually on. So the backlash on social media was thick.
Interestingly enough, it seems as if Ashley isn’t too worried about the criticism. Hours ago, on Instagram, she reposted viewers who penned comments praising her for being able to keep the drama going on the show.
The viewer wrote, “We can always count on @_AshleyDarby to move this show forward, and that’s why she’s the MVP of #RHOP ? ”
A Twitter user agreed and quoted Ashley suggesting to Monique that they call Karen right on the spot.
And Blogger Faces By Bravo said Ashley has mastered how to navigate reality television.
