The pandemic has really changed things.

The ladies are trying to get adjusted to the new world before them. It’s the middle of a pandemic and George Floyd’s death has a struck a chord with them. In fact, Porsha and Dennis had a scary moment while they were protesting. Police shot rubber bullets and sprayed pepper spray at the protestors.

At one protest, Porsha had a megaphone and started positive chants with the protestors about loving their blackness.

Kandi heads by Cynthia’s home. They decide to hang out outside because of the pandemic. Cynthia says she gained 20 pounds during the quarantine. So she needs to lose weight for her wedding.

Not too long after Marlo shows up. Marlo uses a temperature checker before she sits with both women.

They FaceTime Kenya but they have bad reception.

Kenya sees an attorney about a possible divorce.

As for Kenya, she’s been stressed out having to stay home. She gained 30 pounds while stress-eating. While en route to see her attorney, she talks to Brandon on the phone. And she says that Marc was so cold towards her when she was in New York. She’s tired of being sad.

Kenya meets with Attorney Weems. She appreciates that he required she be tested for the virus first. As they talk about Marc, Kenya says that it seems like Marc is taking things out on her since the pandemic has hurt his restaurant business.

She says she bought Marc a car while they were married and she bought her house in cash. But she’s not worried too much about assets. She just doesn’t want Brooklyn’s relationship with Marc to suffer in any way. Kenya has to think about what she wants to do from here.

The movement has touched Porsha.

Porsha and Dennis fly to Kentucky to protest for justice for Breonna Taylor. Although Porsha’s grandfather was a civil rights activist, she acknowledges that she hasn’t been so knowledgeable about the history of black people in the past. But she remembers marching with her grandfather when she was 6 and being threatened by the KKK. So she wants to go back to her roots and be a part of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Block still hasn’t made things right with Kandi and Riley.

Riley is getting ready to go to NYU to begin her journey of becoming a successful attorney. With tuition being so expensive, Riley figures her dad Block can help pay. However, Block owes about $100,000 in unpaid child support. But when Kandi asked for it, he told her she was acting like a “broke b*tch.” And with him going around riding in Bentleys, it’s ridiculous that he hasn’t paid child support.

Riley is angry that Block hasn’t been in her life since she’s seen him be more involved in the lives of his other children. So she’s not sure she needs to ever have a relationship with him.

Todd says it’s all about actions and Block needs to genuinely try with Riley. However, Riley needs to keep an open mind.

Cynthia and Kandi get an update about Marc.

Kenya invites Cynthia and Kandi over. They walk over to the construction area. She’s adding a jacuzzi, pool. pool house and playground area to her mansion.

She tells them she went to see Marc in New York two weeks ago. They were okay until day two. And he picked a fight with her. Cynthia says she doesn’t like the way Marc talks to Kenya.

Kenya’s attorney advised her to either file for a divorce or file a separation agreement.

Cynthia and Kandi think Kenya needs to move on from the marriage.

The wedding planner has gotten difficult for Cynthia and Mike.

Although the pandemic has taken over, Mike and Cynthia are still moving forward with their wedding. The wedding planner told them they may have to cut down their wedding list to 50 people to follow the safety laws. After drama on her wedding day with Peter, Cynthia wants the day to be perfect. But she doesn’t want to compromise in any way. She wants all her loved ones to be there. Mike doesn’t care if it’s just them and a minister on that special day.

Honestly, Mike doesn’t care about having a wedding at all. They can get married without one. He wishes Cynthia felt the same way.

Porsha is arrested.

While Porsha is at a protest for Breonna Taylor outside of Attorney General Daniel Cameron’s house, she is arrested.

Kandi, Todd, and Don Juan discuss starting a steakhouse. During this conversation, Cynthia calls Kandi. They talk about Porsha getting arrested. They are both so proud of her.

After 13 hours, Porsha and all the other protestors are released from jail. It was a life-changing moment for Porsha. And she would do it again.

  1. Mike Hill ain’t all that! I’m tired of his over-the-top attitude and expressions. Why everybody so fat? AND WHERE’S NENE? RHOA needs to change to BHOA (Boring Housewives of Atlanta).
