Yandy Smith received criticism while protesting for Breonna Taylor.
“Love And Hip Hop New York” star Yandy Smith has been serious about the Black Lives Matter movement. Not only has she put a lot of time into fighting for prison reform, but she also protested for justice for Breonna Taylor. Yandy was also arrested at protests as well. But she has no regrets. And she told her supporters that the situation is one that rocked her to her core. There have even been times when Yandy has woken up from a nightmare in which she had a similar fate as Breonna. So the cause was something she is really passionate about. She wants to fight for change.
While some people have supported Yandy’s activism, others have been critical. And she’s been accused of protesting for “clout.”
Yandy has clapped back at the criticism. She can’t understand why anyone would think she would risk her own safety for clout.
Porsha Williams is facing the same kind of accusations.
Interestingly enough, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has been dealing with similar criticism. In fact, Kenya Moore has been one of her harshest critics. Not only has Kenya called out Porsha’s activism on the show, but she’s also had things to say about it on social media.
She has accused Porsha of using activism as a storyline. And this hasn’t set well with Porsha.
Yandy recently offered Porsha some words of encouragement amid the criticism.
