Erica Dixon had many memorable moments on “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta.”
“Love And Hip Hop Atlanta” star Erica Dixon made a huge impression on fans in the show’s early seasons. While she came on to open up about her relationship with Scrappy, over time, she’s been able to become a fan favorite even after the relationship ended.
In fact, many viewers were upset about Scrappy calling Erica a “basic baby momma” at the reunion.
Even though Erica is no longer a main cast member on the show, there has still been a lot going on in her life. She had twins. And she’s been busy running multiple businesses. Erica also went back to school to learn how to market her businesses on her own.
Erica Dixon is okay with not being a main cast member.
In a recent interview with VH1, Erica gave some updates on what’s been going on in her life.
She revealed that she is okay with no longer being a main cast member on “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta.”
Erica said, “I’m actually okay with the fact that I stopped being a main cast member, took a step down because listen, I’ve been able to live a little and I’m gonna hip you to some tea about what’s been going on in my life.”
She continued, “I am very glad that I took a break from the show because it can be mentally and physical draining. You’re dealing with yourself and your character flaws and your demons. And then you take on other people’s as well and then you build relationships with friends. And then they’re going through stuff and then you take that on too so it’s a lot. So taking that break was very good for me. I needed it. I just kinda needed to whoosah.”
Things are going great in her love life.
Erica also discussed her love life. She’s in a relationship and happy with how things have been going. She said, “My current love life is actually good. I haven’t been this happy in a minute, it’s been a minute. It’s so funny to me because I had wrote down a prayer of exactly what I wanted. And when I say maybe two things were missing, I’m like Lord, you answering prayers like this? Exactly what I wrote out? Okay, thank you!” She added, “He’s a really great guy.”
She revealed there’s an age difference, “He’s a little younger than me. So cougar, cougar. But he’s very mature. Mentally, we’re on the same level. We have the same goals and we work towards those goals together.” She continued, “We compete with each other. We’re each other’s drive. So I really love that about him. Great with the kids. They love him. Great with the family. They love him. And that’s all that matters.”
And when it comes to the show, Erica isn’t sure her man should be on “Love And Hip Hop Atlanta.” She said, “We talked about him coming on the show and he’s more than willing to. I’m just kinda skeptical because I just think things really work out best when they’re private. Especially when it comes to, you know, relationships. And social media…ugh Jesus. People come out from everywhere like roaches.”
