Things got really contentious between Evelyn and OG.
“Basketball Wives” star OG was caught up in controversy during the previous season. Her feud with Evelyn Lozada took an interesting turn. After OG revealed that Chad Johnson tried to hit on her, the beef carried over onto social media. So when Evelyn used a monkey emoji on a post on Instagram Story, OG accused her of being racist. At the reunion, OG said that she felt she was treated differently by the other women on the show due to colorism. And she believed that’s one of the reasons why they refused to film the reunion with her on the stage with them.
In response, the cast denied that they were colorists. They said their issues with OG stemmed from past incidents, and they just didn’t care for her.
Evelyn and OG’s feud would later turn legal. After being accused of being racist, Evelyn filed a defamation lawsuit against OG. OG then countersued for emotional distress.
So when it was reported that two cast members were refusing to film together during season 9, many fans suspected that the blind item was about OG and Evelyn.
Interestingly enough, OG recently gave an update about her legal battle with Evelyn. Plus, she addressed cast members refusing to film with her.
