Josiah meets Ricky.
Kandi is given her own day in Fulton County for bringing so many jobs to Atlanta with her multiple businesses.
Cynthia and Mike agree to find a new house together in Atlanta.
Porsha Williams speaks at the rally for Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff. They are in the middle of run-off races for the Georgia senate race. She’s glad to have even been asked to be a part of this.
Meanwhile, Drew and Ralph are dealing with an important family matter. Josiah is finally meeting his biological father. They are meeting him at a restaurant but he’s running pretty late. Regardless, Josiah says he’s excited to see him. In a green screen interview, Drew says she hopes that Josiah doesn’t get stood up.
Ricky, Josiah’s father, finally gets there. It’s a bit awkward at first as Josiah doesn’t hide that he’s not interested in talking too much. After Ralph takes Josiah away so Drew can talk to Ricky, Ricky says he’s going to keep working at building the relationship with Josiah because he’s his only child.
Marc has frustrated Kenya, again.
Kenya has another counseling session. She says that she was thrown off by Marc staying at her house during Brooklyn’s birthday weekend. She says he didn’t even ask her if that was okay. He even slept in her bed. Before Marc left to head back to New York, he said he wanted to work things out to save their marriage. However, Kenya’s feelings have changed. She never knows what to expect from Marc. Sometimes his motives seem self-serving.
She realizes that Marc blocked her phone calls and text messages. And this is the kind of behavior that doesn’t sit well with her.
At this point, Kenya is ready to show Marc the side of her that deals with her foes. She’s done being nice and she’s moving on with her life.
The women come together for the Holidays.
Cynthia throws a Christmas gift party where the women were asked to buy a $1000 gift. They will pull numbers and play a game to see who ends up receiving their gifts.
However, LaToya says she doesn’t want to come and have more drama with Drew. And Marlo isn’t coming and she is sending her gift via her assistant. Porsha and Drew are running late, much to the annoyance of Cynthia and the others.
Drew’s gift isn’t well-received by anyone.
When Drew and Porsha arrive, the women begin opening the gifts and deciding if they want to steal someone else’s by the order of the numbers they pulled. Cynthia’s gift is one of the least popular. She bought Tiffany jewelry. Porsha ends up with her gift and she is immediately disappointed. However, she’s stuck with it since she pulled the number one.
Kenya ends up getting Drew’s gift and one of them includes a wig in a pet carrier. This is her payback for Kenya and LaToya’s past comments about her wig. Of course, Kenya is not impressed and thinks this was corny. Another gift is a donation to the Human Society. It’s a gag gift and she says that her wig and donation equals $1000. She also included a recording of Prophet Lott telling Drew’s assistant that he really likes LaToya and he understands her situation because he was married when he met his child’s mother.
The ladies feel like the audio doesn’t really prove anything.
LaToya and Drew go at it, again.
Not too long after, LaToya arrives. And Kenya wastes no time telling LaToya about the gag gift and “stupid recording.” LaToya and Drew start arguing and Drew says LaToya can’t own the truth. Kandi gets upset and says that Drew keeps blaming LaToya for a man’s behavior. And that’s not okay. If the prophet hooked up with LaToya, it’s because he wanted to.
Drew still thinks LaToya is wrong, but Porsha and the others tell her that they don’t think it’s a big deal if LaToya and the prophet like each other.
Eventually, LaToya throws the wig at Drew. This angers Drew and security has to break everything up. And Cynthia is upset because she feels as if Drew ruined her party.
