Gizelle Bryant threw some shade.
Wendy Osefo and Gizelle Bryant aren’t in the best place these days. The issue is Gizelle brought a rumor about Eddie Osefo to the group. And this didn’t sit well with Wendy. When Wendy later confronted Gizelle about this, things got heated. And now Gizelle no longer follows Wendy on Instagram.
Gizelle was asked about this when she and Robyn Dixon recently appeared on “The Breakfast Club.”
She said, “I did unfollow her. Wendy is one of our newer ladies. She umm…how can I describe…that’s why I unfollowed her cause she’s just not that interesting.”
Gizelle then elaborated on what led to their fallout, “There’s a lot of things that she thought I did which I did not do. The reason that she thought I did is because typically I do do very shady things. And I own it, right? I’m just here to let everybody live in their truth. Let’s just talk about it. So but I didn’t come at it from a shady perspective. I was really like…it was out of concern. What’s going on in your life? Are you able to handle social media? Are you able to handle everything that goes on and goes along with being on a reality television stage?”
For Gizelle, she said it was just about making sure Wendy could handle it when allegations hit close to home, “It’s not for the faint at heart. It’s very difficult. You really have to have tough skin. And that was where I was coming from and she didn’t believe it.”
Things didn’t work out with Pastor Jamal Bryant.
Gizelle also gave an update on her love life. She is no longer dating Pastor Jamal Bryant. And long-distance was a big issue, “With the pandemic, we realized it’s just not the right time. It’s not gonna work so right now I’m footloose and fancy-free. I am single.”
When it comes to how Gizelle is getting along with Karen Huger as of now, surprisingly, they are on better terms, “Today we are good.” She added, “Normally she and I go at it but today we are good.” Gizelle also said viewers will see this play out on the show, “You’ll see a lot of growth with our relationship.”
While “Real Housewives of Potomac” newbie Mia Thornton had some heated moments in the season 6 trailer, Gizelle does like her, “She started out rocky when she came and was introduced to the group. But I actually love Mia.”
Both Robyn and Gizelle also said that they didn’t want Monique Samuels off the show. In particular, they aren’t trying to take money out of anyone’s pockets. They always just want what’s best for the show.
In related news, the besties have a new podcast called, “Reasonably Shady.” It’s on the iHeartRadio platform and a part of Charlamagne Tha God’s Black Effect Podcast Network.
