Tee Tee and Egypt are no longer close.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” stars Egypt and Tee Tee used to be very close. In fact, Egypt used to look at her older cousin as a big sister. And when Pepa would have to travel as a member of Salt-N-Pepa, it was Tee Tee whom she trusted to look after Egypt. However, things have changed since Sam has entered Egypt’s life.
The romance hasn’t been without criticism. Tee Tee and Briana have questioned Sam’s intentions since the very beginning of his relationship with Egypt. In fact, both suspected that Sam is using Egypt to advance his own music career. Even JoJo has questioned why the cast hasn’t been able to see Egypt perform on stage by herself since she’s been with Sam.
Egypt is sick and tired of the criticism Sam receives. She has cooled out on Tee Tee and Briana. And on the current season, she told Savannah that she actually heard that Tee Tee’s fiance Shawn cheated on her. It didn’t take long for the rumor to make its way back to the rest of the group. And this has forced the couple to address it. Shawn denied cheating on Tee Tee. He said that he entertained other women before things got serious with Tee Tee. But he never cheated.
On the season finale of “Growing Up Hip Hop,” Tee Tee and Egypt will finally come face to face with their mothers to put it all on the table. Meanwhile, Shawn and Sam confront each other as Treach and Tyran look on.
