Candiace Dillard has something to say to Jemele Hill.
Jemele Hill discovered “Real Housewives of Potomac” after clips of the season 5 reunion began to make rounds. So she got hip on the show as Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels were dealing with the aftermath of their physical altercation. Monique decided to leave the show and not return for the current season. And her departure hasn’t resulted in Candiace being drama-free.
In fact, trailers for the current season have shown Candiace having heated moments with Mia Thornton and Ashley Darby. During one of the scenes between Candiace and Mia, Candiace asked Mia where her “pimp” is. At some point, Mia throws lettuce at Candiace and she throws it back. Candiace also referred to Mia as a “lady of the night” in her green screen interview. And Mia expressed on social media that she didn’t appreciate this.
When it comes to Candiace’s feelings about Ashley, she’s still upset that Ashley wrote a character statement for Monique. So she continues to take jabs at Ashley when they are around each other.
So Jemele has come to the conclusion that just maybe Candiace wasn’t traumatized because she was assaulted. But more so just traumatized that she didn’t win during the altercation she had with Monique.
In a tweet, Jemele wrote, “Clearly grown women fighting is a terrible look, but it is blame on both sides. Candiace is always telling people she’s about that action, and then you get that action you asked for, so…Part of me thinks the real emotional trauma is losing the fight.”
Candiace then responded with, “Messaged you on IG since you’re too chicken sh*t to have your Twitter DMs on.”
