Mia Thronton has her theory about Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard.
Candiace Dillard still believes Ashley Darby betrayed her when she wrote a character statement to help out Monique Samuels. So she went off on her “Real Housewives of Potomac” costar after she confronted Wendy Osefo about the cheating rumors. She accused Ashley of being malicious and she called her “wide-bodied.”
Some of the cast and fans of RHOP have accused Candiace of body shaming Ashley. They point out that the timing of the comment was insensitive since Ashley had recently given birth to her second child.
Mia Thornton discussed this during the After Show. And Karen Huger had something to say as well. In fact, she said she isn’t even sure what the “disconnect” is between Candiace and Ashley. “I have always known that Candiace, even without being there, has the knack for using her words to cut deep. And I am disappointed to hear that that happened here. But I am glad that I wasn’t there because this has gotta move on. And I don’t even understand what Candiace and Ashley’s disconnect is now.”
Mia then says to Karen, “I understand their disconnect.” She continues, “Oh absolutely. Candiace is a spoiled brat. And Ashley, she’s minding her own business in her penthouse.”
