Chris Bassett and Candiace Dillard speak as the criticism rolls in.
After the recent episode of “Real Housewives of Potomac,” fans have a lot to say about the latest blowup between Candiace Dillard and Mia Thornton. Both women attended Wendy Osefo’s couples’ trip with their husbands. After an awkard moment with Mia’s husband Gordon Thornton, Candiace and Mia had yet another conversation about the music video drama. Once again, Mia’s mother caught some strays.
The other women are fully aware that Mia’s mother is a recovering drug addict. So they tried to tell Candiace to ease off and stop taking jabs at her mother. But Candiace was too heated to back off from the insults. Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Robyn Dixon, and Wendy have all made it clear that they find Candiace’s constant jabs at Mia’s mother to be way too much.
Candiace is beginning to feel as if the other women are turning against her. In a tweet, she wrote, “Just when I consider blocking my coworkers, I am reminded that it is a good thing to bear witness with my own two eyes when I’m being sold up the river. Fooled me once…that was it.”
One person who is supporting Candiace through all the backlash is her husband Chris Bassett. He tweeted, “Legit question…if you disrespect me FIRST…why are you mad about how I respond to you?! #dontstartnothingwontbenothing #RHOP”
