Things have gotten worse between Candiace Dillard and Ashley Darby.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” stars Ashley Darby and Candiace Dillard have a long history of exchanging low blows and venom. Some fans didn’t see their issues coming considering Candiace was introduced to the show as Ashley’s friend. However, they ended up clashing at Candiace’s first reunion. And it’s been on since. For Ashley, the last straw was Candiace’s comments about her miscarriage. She also didn’t like that Candiace questioned if Michael really cried about losing their first baby. Plus, Candiace didn’t believe that Ashley was really trying to get pregnant after she had a miscarriage because Ashley continued to drink alcohol.
The last straw for Candiace when it comes to Ashley is what happened after the altercation with Monique Samuels. To keep Monique from going to jail, Ashley wrote a character statement. She brought up the time that Candiace threw a butter knife in her direction. This of course led to all the charges being dismissed against Monique.
Candiace believes Ashley got involved to get back at her for their past blowups. So she’s been coming for Ashley on the current season. And Candiace’s past comments and tweets have been the subject of conversations. To no surprise, all of this comes up again during part two of the reunion. After Candiace denies calling Ashley a slave, she goes off. Eventually, Candiace breaks down in tears as she recalls Ashley doing some really horrible things to her.
