Candiace Dillard has received backlash for her clap backs.
“Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard is no stranger to controversial moments. On her first season, she had tension with the OGs, Gizelle Bryant and Charrisse Jackson-Jordan. But her most talked-about feuds have been with Monique Samuels and Ashley Darby. Things with Monique became physical. And the altercation didn’t just divide the cast, but it divided fans, too. Candiace didn’t feel as if her concerns were taken seriously. She also had some words for Andy Cohen for not reaching out to her when she was upset about being assaulted while filming.
When it comes to Candiace’s feud with Ashley, things have escalated so bad that she tossed a butter knife in Ashley’s direction. On the current season, she called Ashley “wide-bodied.” And some of the cast felt she took things too far because Ashley had recently given birth. Ashley also took issue with Candiace’s past tweets. In one tweet, Candiace called Ashley a bed w*nch. And she said Michael Darby was an overseer.
Candiace has received some backlash for her clap backs. She’s questioned if the criticism is rooted in colorism since she’s not the only one who throws verbal jabs.
Interestingly enough, Candiace had more to say about her time on RHOP. And she said that Chris Bassett believes the cast comes for her to make good television. She feels this is unfair.
