Is Candiace Dillard the one people come for to secure a storyline on RHOP?

Chris Bassett has tried to talk Candiace Dillard into choosing peace multiple times on “Real Housewives of Potomac.” However, it hasn’t been easy for Candiace. She feels as if her cast members have been too disrespectful towards her. On the current season, she’s had more tension with Ashley Darby. But she didn’t anticipate that she would have a blowup with newbie Mia Thornton.

After Mia called Candiace’s “Drive Back” music video low budget, Candiace said Mia’s mother is low budget. At the time, she didn’t know that Mia’s mother is a recovering drug addict. So the other women on the show felt Candiace crossed the line. And mothers should be off-limits.

Regardless, Candiace and Chris feel as if she’s a constant target on RHOP. And the reason for this is because feuding with her makes good television.

During an interview with the Daily Pop, she opened up about this with “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey.

“Chris gets so upset with me because he feels like a lot of the girls use my emotional state to make good TV.” She continued, “The gift and the curse of being Candiace is I am always going to come to the table authentically Candiace. Good, bad, or indifferent.”

Throwing lettuce isn’t something Candiace Dillard would do again.

She was asked if she would toss lettuce at Mia again after their issues.

“Would I do it again? No. I probably would have stopped at when we got to the kitchen, and she was talking to Ashley literally behind my back…she was asking for that moment. And once again my husband is right, these women like to use what they know is a sure-fire thing, I’m going to be emotional, to make TV.”

She added, “It’s unfair because I’m also a nice person. I like to have fun…I’m a girl’s girl. I wanna have a good time, I wanna drink, I wanna play, twerk, and have fun.”

Candiace also said that she’s not going to allow anyone to “son” her.

“I’m not son-able, don’t come for me, don’t play me. And if you try to play me, like I said, I’m always home. You can come to the door and get what you’ve come to get. Amen.”
