The drama continues when GUHH returns.
“Growing Up Hip Hop” returns in January. When season 6 left off, there was a lot of drama going down between Tahira “Tee Tee” Francis and Egypt Criss. The cousins used to be very close. However, their relationship has taken a hit since Egypt started dating Sam Wright. For Tee Tee, the issue was she just felt like Sam was an opportunist. And his plan was to ride Egypt’s coattails to a successful music career. And being in a relationship with the daughter of Pepa and Treach was a huge advantage that could lead Sam to the industry connections he needed. However, Sam denied using Egypt. The tension between Egypt and Tee Tee would only continue to grow. However, they have decided to try to put their past issues behind them as Tee Tee prepares to marry Shawn Rogers.
The remainder of season 6 will have just as much drama as the first half of the season. Lil Twist has a gun charge he must fight. Meanwhile, Sam has his own legal issues to worry about as well. Jojo Simmons and his wife Tanice Simmons aren’t on the same page after having their son. And Briana LaTrise has a major blowup while filming.
