Kat makes her return to the “Black Ink Crew” franchise as a successful entrepreneur.
Kat left “Black Ink Crew Chicago” after her controversial fallout with Ryan. The experience left a bad taste in her mouth. In fact, she went off on the producers after they filmed her supporting Charmaine at her mother’s funeral. She expressed her dislike of the show. So it seemed as if she may never return to the show and open up about the success her shop, Enigma Tattoo, is having in Beverly Hills. However, fans will get an update on Kat’s success on the upcoming season of “Black Ink Crew Compton.”
On the preview, there has been a rift in the crew. KP finds out Lemeir opened his own shop. Since there is a lot of bad blood between them, everyone else around them is being pulled in. So “Black Ink Crew” star Ceaser decides it’s time to hit up Kat because the circle needs another boss. And Kat accepts the invitation.
Kat hasn’t just made a lot of changes in her professional life. She’s also had some major updates in her private life as well. She’s found love with Jamie Collins. He’s a linebacker for the New England Patriots. They now have a child together. So she’s a first-time mom.
Interestingly enough, the preview of the new season also shows Ryan making his own pop-up appearance. Despite all of the drama, he and Kat are on cordial terms.
“Black Ink Crew Compton” premieres on February 21, at 9/8c.
