Candiace Dillard has been called out by RHOP numerous times.
Candiace Dillard strongly believes that the criticism she receives from “Real Housewives of Potomac” fans can be unfair. In Candiace’s opinion, she doesn’t come for anyone unless they come for her first. And she’s starting to think the other women on the show may clash with her for storylines. When it comes to warring with words, Candiace is exceptional. However, not everyone loves her clap backs. And some have accused her of being too nasty with her responses.
Amid her feud with Mia Thornton, Candiace questioned if the other cast members are critical of her clap backs because she is dark-skinned. At times, Candiace has felt like criticism from fans may also be rooted in colorism. In the past, Candiace has also said that Ashley Darby doesn’t receive the same level of criticism because she is light-skinned.
Interestingly enough, the current drama on “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” has gotten Candiace’s attention. On the previous episode, Lisa Barlow had some controversial things to say about Meredith behind her back.
“Meredith can go f*ck herself. I’m done with her. Cause I’m not a f*cking wh*re and I don’t cheat on my husband. Her and her dumb f*cking family that poses. Why don’t you own a house? Wait, you can’t. Cause your husband changes jobs every five minutes.”
She continued, “Fake Meredith is a piece of sh*t. ‘I have your back.’ I’m offended by that. F*ck you! That f*cking piece of sh*t garbage wh*re. I f*cking hate her. She’s a wh*re.” Lisa added, “She’s f*cked half of New York…she can go f*ck herself!”
Lisa and Meredith were friends for about 10 years.
Candiace Dillard feels some RHOSLC fans are hypocritical?
Some RHOSLC fans took to Twitter to call the moment “iconic.” Well, Candiace thinks it’s hypocritical for Lisa to be praised for what she said when Candiace has received so much backlash for her clap backs.
Candiace responded when a Twitter user said that it’s unfair that Lisa is being praised while Candiace has been dragged over the years. She wrote, “She’s white. Black women can’t get angry. We’re vile and violent when we’re angry. White girls are always allowed the full scope of emotion. That was easy. Now, watch them justify her to tear me down some more. In 3, 2, 1…”
She added, “It’s actually triggering to see a white woman have the freedom to be angry, I’m triggered. Everything is triggering me. I’m taking a break.”
