Egypt Criss’ altercation with Briana Latrise was a very controversial moment on GUHH.

Briana Latrise and Tahira “Tee Tee” Francis have been vocal on “Growing Up Hip Hop” about their distrust of Sam Wright. They feel he’s using Egypt Criss to help his own music career. Their strong opinions about Sam have rubbed Egypt the wrong way. After attacking Briana while filming and getting even with Tee Tee, Egypt is no longer in a good place with both women. While Tee Tee and Briana said their actions were all about protecting Egypt, some fans of the show believe they got too involved. Others think Sam is the true issue and he’s done nothing but bring drama to Egypt’s life and family.

Interestingly enough, Briana discussed her fallout with Egypt during an interview with Tasha K.

After Tasha said that Egypt got real bold when she punched Briana while they were filming GUHH, Briana said that she places the blame on Sam.

“It’s Sam winding her up and whatnot trying to make her into something…the crazy thing is this girl was such a beautiful, beautiful like naturally, physically and spiritually too.”

Briana Latrise worries that Egypt Criss could be ruining her reputation.

She continued, “What bothered me is, and I know the show liked to portray that I was in their business and whatnot. But let me tell y’all something, I’m a grown a*s woman. I don’t give a f*ck what you do with your parts as long as they stay away from me. But as a friend, what I will always do as a real friend is tell you what I need to tell you as a friend, as a big sister, especially big sister energy, auntie energy.”

Briana also said that Egypt needs to figure out who she is, “So I told her I just want you to be single for a little while. I’m not trying to separate you from him, but I just need you to discover who you are as an individual. Because if you don’t know who you are, it’s too easy for someone else to tell you who you are. And you’re going to spend forever trying to figure out who you are later. That’s if you’re lucky enough to be given the time to do so. Do you get what I mean? I just want her to be able to grow up in her space in her time.”

Although Tasha believes Egypt will wake up one day, Briana still has concerns. “Eventually but hopefully it’s not too late because what people forget is this is tarnishing her reputation. I don’t believe that’s a forever thing or whatnot but it will definitely slow down your progress and your growth.”
