Mariah Huq is fine with being behind the scenes for now.
Mariah Huq found herself nearly on an island by herself on her last season on “Married to Medicine.” Not only did she have a nasty fallout with Quad Webb, but she’s clashed with Dr. Heavenly Kimes for years. She took issue with Heavenly using “yo momma” as a clap back. And Heavenly was done with Mariah when she accused Dr. Damon Kimes of being unfaithful.
Although Dr. Simone Whitmore and Toya Bush-Harris had Mariah’s back when she was accused of doing drugs, Mariah feels none of the women supported her when she was clashing with producers behind the scenes. When she wasn’t offered a season 8 contract, she revealed she planned to file a lawsuit. In her opinion, she was treated unfairly by those in power. And she feels as if her show was stolen from her.
Well, some of Mariah’s supporters have expressed their disappointment with her absence. They are boycotting the show. A petition was also created urging those in charge to bring Mariah back. However, their demands have fallen on deaf ears. Mariah will also not be on the upcoming season.
Interestingly enough, Mariah shared a message recently for those who are missing her. On her Instagram Story, she reposted her friend’s story. The women recently spent some time together. And the message assured everyone that Mariah is fine with collecting her checks behind the scenes for now, “I missed my sisteeerrr @iluvmariah ? ? ❤️. Y’all missed her on your TV screen but she said, for now, she’ll stay behind the scenes and write checks.”
