Claudia continues to make moves.
Elijah wants Jenard to understand how serious his plans are. Jenard was okay with purposely losing the boxing match against Diamond because his long-term plan is to get the majority of the CBI to leave with him. For Jenard, it’s so personal because he had to give up so much for his seat at the table. And he’s not about to give up his power to his big brother. So he’ll need Elijah to execute his plan.
Tommy wants to bring the Yardies into his deal since Flynn ruined the one they had lined up with CBI. Liliana doesn’t want to deal with the Yardies. But Tommy will proceed anyway. And he tells Liliana to find out what Claudia Is up to.
Claudia meets with her associate Reggie. She shows him the new drug and tells him that if he wants a piece, he can work with her only. The rest of the Flynn family is not involved. After Reggie samples the drug, he agrees to her terms.
Vic wants to step out of Walter’s shadow.
Diamond and Tommy prepare to talk business at a restaurant. Tommy is surprised when Vic joins them. Vic tells Diamond that he knows that CBI wasn’t responsible for the attack on Paulie and his wife because that’s not their style.
Vic wants to work with CBI. He’s tried to explain to Walter that their family business is drying up. And they need to change how they do things. But Walter doesn’t want to diversify their product or work with the black crews. So Vic wants to work with Tommy and Diamond behind his father’s back.
Paulie pays his homeless son a visit. He reluctantly gives him money after he asks. Meanwhile,Liliana is following Claudia around and taking pictures.
Elijah and Jenard execute their plan.
When Tommy, Diamond, and Vic try to link up with the Yardies; Elijah calls Diamond. He tells Diamond that he needs to leave the meeting immediately because someone gave the cops a heads up. They get away, however, in the process Vic sees the cop he’s been working with, Officer Bennigan. Now they have to go back to the drawing board since things fell through with the Yardies.
While Tommy and Vic are out, Tommy senses that Vic is trying to make a move on him. Vic gets straight to the point, telling Tommy that he knows he’s been sleeping with Gloria. But he doesn’t think the fling will last. And since he and Gloria are on a break, money comes first. He doesn’t mind working with Tommy.
Elijah and Jenard call out Diamond. They feel he’s been making bad decisions since Tommy’s been in the picture. And if Elijah wasn’t on the scanners checking, Diamond would have just got caught up. So Diamond has a choice to make. He needs to wash his hands of Tommy or he can’t lead CBI.
Vic is really frustrated by Walter.
Walter confronts Vic about meeting with Diamond and Tommy behind his back to arrange something with the Yardies. Walter doesn’t think they need to change up how they do things As for Vic, he feels trapped. He is told he can’t live his own life with Gloria but he’s not allowed to take over for Walter either. This is very frustrating.
Before Tommy leaves Gloria’s bar, she tells him that she never got the chance to tell him her history with Vic. Regardless, business matters must come first. So for now, Tommy will have to find a new bar to go to in order to avoid any additional tension with Vic.
On his way out, Walter approaches. He tells Tommy that he knows that Vic was at the recent meeting. And if Tommy drags Vic into any major issues, the whole City of Chicago will be at Tommy’s door.
The Serbs find Liliana.
Liliana makes it back home after a long day of spying and keeping an eye on Claudia, so she’s caught off guard and attacked by a man who broke into her home. The man demands to know where the drugs are. When she doesn’t answer, he begins beating her up.
JP and his father Herman hang out with Tommy. They share some laughs as Tommy and Herman bash Kate.
Meanwhile, Liliana now has a bag over her head.
Officer Bennigan has a tense conversation with Vic. Vic refuses to confirm he’s trying to work with CBI and the Yardies. And Bennigan stresses that what Vic is trying to do is very dangerous. But Vic taunts Bennigan about his daughter’s safety. Vic wants Bennigan to keep his mouth closed.
After being beaten some more and tortured with a cigar, Liliana acts as if she’s ready to reveal where the drugs are.
Liliana and Jenard reunite.
Tommy gets a text from Liliana urging him to meet her and to “bring Ghost.” He tells JP and Herman he has to go. Not too long later, Tommy shoots and kills the men who snatched up Liliana. Once she gets out of the car, Tommy urges her to help him get rid of the bodies in the nearby river. He informs her that she stole the drugs from the Serbs. Liliana says she had no idea. This isn’t good since Tommy doesn’t have a good history with the Serbs.
Diamond and Tommy decide to talk, so Liliana and Jenard are forced to come face to face again. Liliana says she wants the $8,000 Jenard owes her from when she cut product a while ago.
Tommy tells Diamond that Liliana is most likely not the target of the Serbs anymore and he now is. Ghost was behind the death of one of their bosses, so Tommy knows he’s a target now. Tommy wants to take out the head of the Chicago Serbs and then take over their pipeline. But this is way too far for Diamond. He wants no parts of this and he warns Tommy to think long and hard before he does this.
JP doesn’t recognize his son.
One of Jenard’s associates named D is the one who has been vandalizing JP’s restaurant. He and two other men are caught damaging the property. JP runs up on them with a bat. When D doesn’t answer why he’s been doing this, he can only stare at JP before running off. JP has no idea that D is his long-lost son.
While Jenard and Liliana are talking, he tells her he will pay her a lot of money to kill Tommy. She says that’s not going to ever happen.
Mai and Claudia blackmail Dahlia. The doctor is told she must help them cook up the drug or she’ll be put on blast for her unethical actions that resulted in the drug’s creation.
Tommy takes the drugs back to the Serbs. Turns out Tatiana is in charge now. When guns are drawn on Tommy, Vic saves his life by taking out Tatiana’s men. Tommy kills Tatiana after refusing to give up Liliana.
