Is moving to Atlanta the right move for Puma and his family?

It’s Father’s Day. Before Puma can really enjoy the holiday, Quani once again brings up wanting to move to Atlanta. She’s over New York and she’s sure that starting a new chapter in the south is best for their family. But it’s not so easy for Puma to agree to. He still has his own shop in New York to think about. Regardless, Quani isn’t going to back down from this. And she says that she will continue to look for jobs in Atlanta.

Puma thinks it’s time for another team-building moment. So he asks Tati to help him put together another tattoo competition, but this time it will be the ladies against the guys. Whoever wins will have to be an apprentice to the winners.

Teddy encourages Puma to give Atlanta a chance.

Young Bae tattoos a man named Bobby. His mother was one of the victims of the shooting that took place at an Atlanta spa. He is still hurting and wishes that racism against Asians would end.

Teddy and Puma catch up. They discuss Quani wanting the family to move to Atlanta. Teddy urges Puma to at least give it a chance. And if things don’t work out, they can always move back to New York. Plus, Teddy is proud to hear that Puma found a therapist in Atlanta that he really likes. She’s helped him make a lot of progress.

It’s time to unite.

Young Bae invites the crew and others to participate in her Blasian Unity Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge. The event is supporting the Stop Asian Hate Movement, as well as the Black Lives Matter Movement. Bobby is also there to support since he’s half black.

It’s the day of the tattoo battle between the men and women. Both teams have female clients. A dark-skinned woman tells Bae and the other women that she wants a tattoo of a galaxy. And she wants it to be full color because she’s never done this before.

However, Bae is apprehensive.

She tells the client, “I don’t think the full color’s gonna work, right?” Bae continued, “As a tattoo artist, we have to think about what we’re working with. We wanna give you what’s best for you and what’s gonna stay and what’s gonna look beautiful ten years later, 20 years later. You know what I’m saying? So I don’t think full color is the option.”

Bae added, “Cause like purple, blue. It’s not gonna work.”

The competition is a mess.

In her green screen interview, Bae says, “Certain colors are gonna be there for a couple of days and just go away. And my job is to tell my clients that’s not how it’s gonna look after it’s done healing.”

Vanity then offers that the women do a color splash on the client instead and the client is fine with this. She also wants a woman included in the galaxy.

The men are asked to do a similar tattoo with their client. She wants a tattoo of a woman with Saturn as the head, surrounded by stars.

The competition is a bit unprofessional. Vanity ends up doing the tattoo herself because Krystal doesn’t want to and Bae left the shop. And the men argue a little during the client’s consultation. However, both clients are happy with the end result. So Puma plans to take photos and determine the winner another day.

Interestingly enough, the next day Puma tells Bae that the client was upset with how things went. And she was offended by Bae’s actions.

  1. Bae wasn’t being whatever with the client.
She wanted her to have an amazing long lasting tattoo. Bae did an awesome consultation.
I wish folks would stop twisting words to make it something else.
I’m quite sure if the sister was offended she wouldn’t’ve got the tattoo.
