RHUGT was a blow to Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey’s friendship.
Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey‘s friendship was a hot topic on “Real Housewives of Atlanta” for years. In fact, Porsha Williams and NeNe Leakes were critical of it during their time on the show. Neither thought it was a genuine friendship. And when it comes to NeNe, she was convinced Cynthia and Kenya had more of an alliance than an actual friendship. So it’s safe to say that NeNe and Porsha probably weren’t surprised to see Cynthia and Kenya fall out on “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.”
Cynthia felt like Kenya didn’t have her back enough while they filmed RHUGT. However, Kenya felt like Cynthia was really upset because for the first time Kenya wasn’t the one who struggled to get along with a group of women. In fact, it was Cynthia who struggled to form new connections.

Regardless, Cynthia and Kenya weren’t able to hash out their issues once filming for RHUGT ended. These days it’s quite clear that they are no longer close. And with Cynthia departing “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” fans are not sure that they will be able to get back on track anytime soon.
Cynthia talked about her fallout with Kenya when she appeared on “Watch What Happens Live.” And the RHOA alum participated when Andy Cohen wanted her to play a game of answering some shady questions. One question was about Kenya. And Cynthia was asked what’s the one way that Kenya can improve as a friend.
In response to the questions, Cynthia answered, “I would say…and I’m always gonna have love for Kenya regardless of where we are in our relationship, for me reciprocity is like a big word for me. Just give back the energy that you receive.”
Kenya was never, ever your friend Cynthia, I just wish you knew it.
Is Cynthia serious? She was a shaky friend to Kenya for years. The fact that she got mad that Kenya wasn’t hated on RHUGT says a lot.
RHUGT made me look at Cynthia differently.
The conversations that take place about Kenya and Cynthia’s friendship have always been interesting to me. Kenya is always criticized and said to not be a true friend to Cynthia but she’s never done the cruel things that NeNe has to Cynthia. And they would still be friends now if Cynthia didn’t decide to pick a fight with Kenya because the other women on RHUGT liked her better. It makes you wonder if Cynthia enjoyed being friends with Kenya only because it made her look like the good guy while Kenya was hated for no reason. The fact that Cynthia kept picking at Kenya while she was going through a painful divorce is pretty awful. But she’ll get a pass that Kenya will never have.
Kenya is no ones friend, i remember how she tried to embarrass Cynthia because she did not know what wine should be served with a certain meal…a REAL FRIEND would NEVER try to embarrass you in front of people.Also Kenya tried to spoil Mike surprise proposal…Kenya is a SNAKE…and lord knows she can’t keep a MAN she is PRETTY but UGLY on the inside.
Kenya, is no one friend. Cynthia wake up sista. She like to use people to make herself looks good. Ms. Leaves and Porscha and the couple of the other ladies on AHW try to tell u as well. Kenya is Poison!!!!
