Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker Confront OLG Employee for Complaints Made About Business

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker thought new management could help OLG.

OLG was Todd Tucker’s vision. However, the business has become much more than Kandi Burruss could have ever expected. Now she and her family are hoping to work out the kinks. Although OLG has also been discussed on “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” fans are getting the most intimate look of what it’s been like to run the business on “Kandi & the Gang.” And so far, there has been a lot of drama. It’s pretty evident that OLG’s biggest obstacle as of yet is the staff.

Although the staff consists of family members and people Kandi and Todd genuinely like, some of those who are employed aren’t making the most professional choices.

There have been complaints about the longtime hostess, Shawndreca Robinson. Customers have accused Shawndreca of being unprofessional and rude. Dom’Unique Variety, one of the bartenders, has been allowed to get away with more because the general manager Brandon Black has a crush on her. And Brian Redmond and Torin Mitchell have returned to give OLG another shot even though their first attempts aren’t without criticism. Regardless, Kandi has said she doesn’t want to fire certain people because she really likes them personally. So she and Todd were hoping that bringing in Phillip Robinson as the Director of Operations is just what OLG needed.

The OLG staff isn’t getting along with the new manager.

Well, the staff isn’t fond of Phillip. He’s been described as being too cold and condescending. And he doesn’t have any interest in being liked by his subordinates. So he clashes with the rest of the staff often. Regardless, Phillip has said that he isn’t the issue. In Phillip’s opinion, the real issue is he’s the first manager that is requiring professionalism from each person on the staff. So they aren’t feeling him.

Interestingly enough, some of the OLG employees have complaints as well about their jobs. In fact, Shawndreca had some things to say when she, Kandi’s cousin Patrick Dallas, and other staff members went out for drinks. This happened after a team meeting. So after having some alcohol, Shawndreca vented. She said she is underpaid as a hostess. Plus, she said that the food prepared at OLG isn’t consistent.

Well, Patrick told Kandi what was said. And since he has a romantic past with Shawdreca and doesn’t get along with her fiancé, it’s clear that Patrick didn’t mind sharing the information with his cousin.

Todd Tucker and Kandi Burruss have a sitdown with Shawndreca Robinson.

On the upcoming episode, Kandi and Todd confront Shawndreca about her comments.

Kandi says, “I personally felt like and I’m gonna keep it all the way 100 with you…After the meeting, you know, I was told that you had a whole lot to say right after the meeting that you did not say during the meeting. Part of that was you said that we don’t give a f*ck, meaning Todd and I.”

Shawndreca explains that she was just frustrated, “People just do what they want here. And it’s not like it was, so it’s kind of like who am I supposed to tell what to?”

And Todd explains why the supposed comment Shawndreca made bothers him, “The problem with telling people we don’t give a f*ck is you see we’re here trying to fix it. That’s the part that bothers me.”

Shawndreca apologizes. “You know I do apologize if that’s what was being spread. When we left the meeting, everybody was saying what they were saying. And I’m like y’all didn’t say this when it was going on. So how is it, ‘Oh, Shawndreca saying all of this?’ But…”

Todd just wants Shawndreca to understand that they need the staff to step it up, “But time out, time out. When you know the owners, it becomes this line that just like…we can’t do it without y’all. We need y’all to do it without us. But we’ll come when the sh*t…some of the other stuff calms down. But we can’t be here every day.”

As the conversation continues, Shawndreca questions who told them what was said. And Todd tells her that the most important thing is her realizing that venting about OLG to others only keeps the drama going.
