Young Bae’s boyfriend lost his job for her.
Ceaser is back in New York. He says he is a single man now after his blowup with Suzette. He’s now going to focus on his career. And he wants a shop in every state. He tells the gang to help him hire some new people for multiple positions.
Interestingly enough, Tatti has her own career aspirations. She’s not happy with where she is. Tati really wants to open a Black Ink in Long Island. So she knows she needs to have a conversation with Ceaser soon.
Young Bae has a new boo in her life named Jay. He used to be a producer on the show. But he lost his job once it came out that he is dating Young Bae.
Ceaser isn’t feeling Alex’s recent actions on Instagram.
Tatti has that conversation with Ceaser. She tells him she wants to open up a Black Ink in Long Island. However, Ceaser doesn’t want to do this unless he knows for sure that Tatti won’t be serving time in prison in the near future. Tatti is disappointed to hear this.
While Ceaser is working out in the gym, he is notified about a comment Alex wrote on Instagram. One person told Alex they are proud to see his growth. And they are grateful he met someone like Ceaser. In response to this, Alex wrote, “I appreciate the first part. The second part you buggin.”
Ceaser plans to confront Alex about this.
Alex and Ceaser hash it out.
On the day of Van’s barbecue, Tatti pulls Ceaser aside. She has decided she still wants to work at Black Ink even though Ceaser doesn’t want to open a shop with her until her legal issues are resolved. Ceaser is relieved she isn’t leaving.
However, he’s unimpressed when Van introduces him to people he thinks they should hire. Ceaser feels it may be time for him to clean up shop with his current staff.
He ends up confronting Alex about the Instagram comment. Alex said he took issue with how the comment towards him was worded. Ceaser didn’t make him but he did help Alex along the way. Regardless, Ceaser says Alex needs to not make these kinds of comments on social media. It’s important that aren’t divided,
Ceaser also has an honest conversation with Puma and Teddy. He’s fine with them having their own dreams outside of Black Ink, but they must make sure to prioritize their Black Ink responsibilities.
