NeNe Leakes believes she has been treated unfairly during her time at Bravo.
Marlo Hampton‘s friendship with NeNe Leakes has seen its ups and downs on “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In fact, NeNe didn’t hold back her views regarding Marlo securing peach before it actually happened. During an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, NeNe said she didn’t see the point of producers giving Marlo a peach. She said Marlo has given just as much content as a housewife as a friend of the show, so producers would never give her a main spot.
Regardless, Marlo made sure to be there for NeNe after Gregg Leakes tragically passed away from cancer. So it seemed as if the two women have been able to maintain their close friendship.
Recently, Marlo did an interview with Extra to promote the upcoming season of RHOA. Of course, she was asked about NeNe’s controversial lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen. NeNe has accused both the network and Andy of racism. She also accused both of allowing Kim Zolciak to make racist remarks without any form of punishment. But Kim went on to secure her own spinoff show, “Tardy for the Party.”
Marlo Hampton just wants to focus on her new chapter as a peach holder.
In the suit, NeNe is also accusing RHOA execs of keeping her out of scenes in which other cast members discussed the Black Lives Matter Movement.
NeNe is also suing NBCUniversal, True Entertainment, and Truly Original. She’s also made claims of people in power allegedly blackballing her and getting in the way of other opportunities she wanted to pursue outside of RHOA.
When Marlo was asked by Extra about her thoughts on the lawsuit, Marlo said, “You know, we’re going to leave that where it’s at. Just sending my sister some love and kisses and we’re gonna keep talking about me and my peach and how it’s my time to shine, baby.”
I’m glad Marlo is focusing on herself because NeNe didn’t even think she deserved a peach. I’m not sure NeNe knows how to be a real friend to anyone.
Marlo has wanted a peach for years. She’s not about to say anything to upset Andy and Bravo.
I don’t care for Marlo but this answer was perfect for the fake friend who never wanted her to have a peach.
This lawsuit is so weird because NeNe just said she’d go back to RHOA and she’s still friends with Kim. Like make it make sense.
