Brian and Patrick are moving forward with their business ideas.
Patrick is planning a photoshoot for his Peau Confiante line of cosmetics and oils. He asks Torin to put it together. And he wants Melvin and Don Juan to participate.
When Torin tells Dom’Unique, Brian, and Shawndreca about Patrick’s plans; they think the name is horrible. Torin also says he wants Phillip to be a part of the shoot. He then pulls up past photos of Phillip on social media and they are shocked to see Phillip being so personable and attractive.
Brian has Melvin come with him to research food trucks. The one he likes cost the owner $70,000. So Brian will need about two years to save up his money. Melvin tells him to not worry too much about the cost because he can make it back in a few months.
The gang sees another side to Phillip.
Phillips meets with Don Juan to tell him he wants to promote Shawndreca to a management role. He’s seen a lot of growth in her but they should test this out first.
It’s the day of the photo shoot. Brandon, Phillip, Don Juan, Rashard, Todd, and Patrick are taking photos. Safari is the photographer. Brian made shirts from one of Phillip’s photos. He hands Shawndreca one to put on. So they walk in wearing them. But Phillip is a great sport about it.
Phillip, Don Juan, Kandi, and Todd are interviewing possible bartenders for OLG. Phillip invites his brother’s girlfriend Tarryn to come. She shows up drunk. And she curses in the interview. So Kandi and Todd aren’t feeling this.
A proposal is near.
Brian invites Todd over to taste his soul food egg rolls and invest in his business. Todd believes the egg rolls are a hit. But he wants 50% ownership if he’s going to invest $100,000. Brian needs to think on this. He isn’t comfortable with giving away half of his business.
With Dom’Unique preparing to leave to tour in London, Torin and Shawndreca plan a surprise daytime hangout to celebrate. Brandon also attends and tells her close friend he’s open to marrying her and starting a family.
Phillip gets even with Shawndreca and pretends like him and Don Juan are about to write her up for poor job performance. She falls for it but she’s happy when they tell her they want to promote her. The new role also comes with a raise.
Patrick meets Safari’s dad for the first time for a game of golf. He asks if he can have his blessing to propose, and Safari’s father says he’ll support whatever Safari wants to do. And if she accepts Patrick’s proposal, he’s on board, too.
