Kenya Moore was called out by Monyetta Shaw.
Kenya Moore, Kandi Burruss, and Drew Sidora were the only ladies who returned after the previous season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.” With the departures of Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey, producers decided to bring back Sheree Whitfield. Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross has also joined the cast. Plus, friends Fatum Alford and Monyetta Shaw filmed the current season as well. Fatum is Sheree’s friend. And Monyetta is close to Kandi Burruss.
While Monyetta hasn’t officially made her first appearance on the show as of yet, she shared her thoughts about Kenya while she joined Kandi for “Speak On It.”
She said, “I’ve been knowing Kenya, well knowing of Kenya through you. We met at a few parties and everything. She was always pleasant to me. And she is friends with our other mutual friend Toby. So she was nothing but nice. People did tell me, ‘Watch out for her, y’all. She ain’t your friend. Watch out.’ And I think I may have gotten a little taste of that with the baby momma…”
Monyetta apparently didn’t like that Kenya referred to her as Ne-yo’s baby momma. However, she understands that it’s not a bad term to everyone, “But maybe some people don’t think it’s a negative…”
Kandi said, “Shoot, I was a baby momma before.”
Regardless, Monyetta still doesn’t like the term, “I mean but still, you know what I’m saying? I was the fiancée so I feel it could have been shade.”

Although she didn’t like that Kenya called her a baby momma, they are still on good terms, “But she’s been very friendly to me. I don’t know about the clip but I guess however you take it, I just don’t like that word. It’s all good. She’s been super cool.”
After the clip went viral, Monyetta had more to say on Twitter. She wrote, “Now…No shade at the baby mamas but @KenyaMoore but didn’t you mean EX-FIANCE??
In response to this, Kenya tweeted, “Yes! I said it but it was used! And what a lovely WIFE you are now.”
Didn’t Neyo make her get her tubes tied just to dump her and marry someone else? I think that whole relationship is still a sore spot for her so the baby momma label just adds to it. It’s silly though.
They didn’t get married so I doubt Kenya was trying to be shady. Monyetta has been known as Neyo’s baby mama for years. It’s how most people came to know her.
Why do BW have an issue being called a ” Baby Mama”?
She tied her tubes for Neyo who left her high and dry. Seems like she is directing her anger at the wrong person.
A lot of these girls just want a problem with Kenya and find any little thing to be mad at. Monyetta has been known as Ne-Yo’s baby momma for years. This is a nonissue and I’m glad Kenya didn’t feed into an obvious attempt at TV beef.
This honestly just reminds me that a lot of women will settle for things they aren’t really comfortable with because they want to hold on to a man. Clearly Monyetta never wanted to be a baby momma but Neyo wasn’t serious about marrying her. So she settled and then he moved on to someone else he actually did want to marry. This is why women should stop settling. If marriage is what you really want, don’t waste your time with men who don’t want to marry you.
It’s not Kenya’s fault she’s being insecure!
Umm if she’s this triggered by being called a baby momma, her skin isn’t thick enough for RHOA.
