Lyrica Anderson thought she should get back together with A1 Bentley for their son.
Lyrica Anderson and A1 Bentley’s appearance on “Marriage Boot Camp” showed that their issues continued away from the “Love And Hip Hop Hollywood” cameras. Although A1 wanted to save their marriage, Lyrica was hesitant. For her, she just struggled to get past A1’s infidelities. This is something A1 doesn’t understand. And he has accused Lyrica of being unfaithful as well. However, Lyrica said she has never cheated. The only time she entertained other men was while they were separated and not even living together. So in her opinion, A1 is gaslighting her. She doesn’t feel like he’s really remorseful of his actions. Nor does she think A1 understands how hurtful it was for her to deal with being cheated on.
Regardless of their past hurdles, the couple went completed the boot camp program. They had to address their past traumas, which may have impacted their relationship.
When it was time for the couples to decide if they would be leaving the house together and working things out, Lyrica wasn’t sure what to do. So she had a conversation with Dr. Ish Major. She expressed that her main priority is their son Ocean. Lyrica worried that ending the marriage would negatively impact him. So it would probably be best to work things out with A1.

Dr. Ish told Lyrica that staying in a marriage she didn’t really want to be in wasn’t healthy for their son. And doing so would impact him in ways that weren’t positive. So Lyrica decided that she would withhold a ring for A1. Instead, she told him that if he proved to her that he was serious about fixing their marriage, they would get back together. However, A1 wasn’t feeling this. In his mind, Lyrica will never really forgive him for their past problems. So he wasn’t going to hold his breath that she would have a change of heart.
Lyrica has since filed for divorce.
Interestingly enough, Lyrica wasn’t too pleased by a tweet Dr. Ish penned. One of the viewers wrote that it seemed as if Lyrica was in denial during her conversation with Dr. Ish, “Lol just look how @LyricaAnderson dismissed @DrIshMajor when he told her the outcome of when parents stay together. She’s lost – in denial af.”
In response to this, Dr. Ish wrote, “De-Nile is the deepest river of them all…”
After Lyrica spotted the tweet in her mentions, she expressed her disappointment.
She tweeted, “Because I was trying to stick it out and work out my marriage, the whole reason I’m on a show like this yet you’re tweeting for the clout of the show. Denial at its finest. I was talking to you, seeking help about having a child and lost. What to do now? You tryna be funny smh.”
Lyrica isn’t the only cast member to call out Dr. Ish on social media. Gangsta Boo did the same after her final episode aired. She was accused of bringing contraband into the house. This resulted in her and her boo Emmet being kicked out of the program.
I know a lot of fans think Dr. Ish can do no wrong but he seems so unprofessional to me. He doesn’t act like an actual therapist at times.
Gangsta Boo made solid points about him as well but people were too determined to drag her for her addiction than admit that this man does questionable things as a therapist. I don’t like how he handled the Tahiry and Vado situation either.
Lyrica played herself going on MBC knowing she wasn’t getting back with Steak Sauce.
Dr. Ish isn’t going to tip toe around your feelings at all. They all got it not just Lyrica.
One thing for sure when you marry someone it is and what you and your significant other wants. One thing for sure, you didn’t marry the mother’s. They need to hear you from both sides and help them figure out if they want to continue the marriage and truly listen to both sides and make them both understand this what has happened and areaing your marriage on air is not the best way. Always talk to each other after the fire in both has been put out to talk to each other. Marriage counseling may work but the main person you need in your marriage is God. He’s the only one and not others if you want to be married or not
Lyrica’s mom is the biggest problem she had in her marriage and she can never check her mom. Her mom was the start of the issues with her mother in law. If she doesn’t check her. Her mom might ruin her next marriage.
