It was a certain event that made Ashley Darby end her marriage.

Ashley Darby and Michael Darby’s marriage has been far from perfect. In fact, “Real Housewives of Potomac” fans have seen this firsthand on the show. At times, Michael has been in the headlines for messy rumors. But the one thing Ashley didn’t want to tolerate is constant disrespect. She was not happy when she found out Michael was in a hotel with another woman. Photos of this went viral on the blogs. Regardless, Ashley said she was going to give Michael one last chance to get it together. And if he didn’t, she was willing to end their marriage.

Well, months ago, Ashley confirmed that she is indeed pulling the plug. While she didn’t reveal what led to her decision, she did confirm that she and Michael were still living together.

And she and Michael wanted to remain in the same house right now because they weren’t ready to shake up their children’s lives with the big change.

Ashley said more recently about her split from Michael. She confirmed that it was an event that led to it.

During an interview with the “Side Piece” podcast. She said, “Unfortunately, I can’t talk about too much because it’s part of the show, and we are filming right now. But of course, when we are done filming, I’ll be more than happy to open up about it. But yes there was an event ultimately that was the catalyst for what was already happening between us. I don’t hate him. There is no resentment. It’s just the way it is.”

She also said that although she and Michael are still living together, they don’t share a bed anymore.

“No, we don’t sleep in the same room.”

When it comes to who she’s leaning on right now, she said Gizelle Bryant and Karen Huger have been very supportive. You can listen to the episode in full here.
