RHOP’s ratings are a hot topic on social media.
With another season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” ending, many figured the anticipation would only increase for the new season of “Real Housewives of Potomac.” When it comes to the social media housewives fandom, the consensus has been that Potomac is a gem. And some fans feel it is delivering more drama and entertainment than most of the other Housewives shows. Of course, RHOP is oftentimes compared to RHOA since the cast is majority Black.
Robyn Dixon has addressed the comparisons. And she says it’s important for all the ladies in Potomac to always remember and respect that the Atlanta ladies paved the way.
Well, RHOP may be a similar boat as RHOA. Apparently, it’s starting off its new season with a drop in ratings. The Season 7 premiere brought in 792,000 viewers. The Season 6 premiere brought in 1.04 million viewers.
Episode 2 will probably be the continuation of Mia Thornton and Gizelle Bryant’s heated conversation at Karen Huger’s Spring Bling event. On the premiere episode, Gizelle confronted Mia about her social media post. And she questioned if Mia lied about having cancer for social media engagement. Of course, the question offended Mia. So she went all the way off on Gizelle for having the audacity to ask the question.
Interestingly enough, fans shouldn’t be too concerned with the numbers. As dire as RHOA appeared at first last season, the ladies were eventually able to average over a million viewers and they scored great reunion ratings. So it’s possible that the RHOP cast will be able to pick up their numbers in the coming weeks. And that’s very likely considering the drama that hasn’t played out on the show as of yet.
Maybe cause they brought back the Linebacker Charisse with that grating voice. And does she think getting bigger boobs really made a difference/ No mam…but do you!! Just not on this show. ughhh whhhyyy did they bring this boring chick back?

I think RHOBH is the most popular Housewives show now. And while it is entertaining, I do think RHOP is the better show right now. I think Bravo needs to promote this and Married to Medicine more than they do.
The Housewives Franchise needs to go.I don’t care what city is being represented,they all should not be on TV.
It doesn’t surprise me that the RHOP is losing ratings. The storylines are predictable,trashy and manufactured.These shows can last without made up conflicts.
I miss the days where the only ” Reality TV” that existed where documentaries.Sadly,in today’s entertainment world,it seem that programs can’t last unless constant fighting/ arguments in them.
