On tonight’s “Queen Sugar,” Aunt Vi’s trip to the west coast proves fruitful. She meets with Betty. Betty’s history with St. Joe and Sam Landry is long. She’s Sam Landry’s high school sweetheart, estranged wife, and Parker’s mother.
Betty’s relationship with Sam is explored. Sam had a chance to leave St. Joe with Betty and Parker but couldn’t overcome his father’s ultimatum.
Betty returned to St. Joe and stops Sam’s and Parker’s plan to sell land to developers as she is an owner of the land.
Meanwhile, Ralph Angel, still reeling from his interaction with Chase wants to tell Blue about his biological father. Nova also learns her Mom’s sister passed away.
