Marlo Hampton didn’t like the criticism she received for her parenting choice.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars Marlo Hampton and Kandi Burruss clashed plenty during the recent season. Kandi said she didn’t see it coming. In fact, Kandi claimed she was one of Marlo’s biggest cheerleaders when it came to Marlo securing a peach. So she didn’t think that Marlo would end up coming for her. However, Marlo told Carlos King that she was just doing her job. And in her opinion, Kandi had been “coasting” for way too long. So she did what was necessary to make Kandi earn her check. This is a sentiment that Sheree Whitfield probably agrees with. Sheree even told Carlos that she feels as if Kandi has too much power behind the scenes. Sheree also wants Phaedra Parks to return to the platform.
During the recent season, Marlo was very sensitive about the reactions to a parenting decision she made involving her nephews. After things became really complicated, Marlo decided her nephews needed to stay with her sister for a month.
While Sanya Richards-Ross said she understood Marlo’s choice because parents sometimes just need a break, Kandi and Kenya Moore were critical. Both women said they believed Marlo was wrong to kick the boys out for a month. Kandi also said that it’s a sensitive topic for her because she took her nephew in when he was really young. And she could never do what Marlo did.

Well, Marlo clapped back at Kandi’s position during a recent interview with “Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald.”
Marlo said, “I feel it’s just the way I phrased it. If I would have phrased it and said hey you guys this is really tough…well, you never know when it comes to this group of girls. If I would have phrased it right, they probably would have still gone after me.”
Heather added, “I do remember kind of Kandi saying something like I’ve taken in relatives before and I would never do that. And again it’s just like…”
And Marlo didn’t hold back, “You never see her with her kids 24/7…she has a whole slew of family that helps her. So coming from Kandi and it didn’t mean that much to me unless I saw her with her children every day. I mean she’s too busy trying to get another bag. She doesn’t have time to spend quality time with her kids.”
She continued, “So that didn’t really bother me with her saying that. I’m like girl you’re a provider. Please don’t come telling me about the quality time because I’m always with Michael and William. We are connected.”

I think they’re both correct, Kandi is allowed way more privilege than others on the show. Marlo is trying to secure her spot on the show by creating beef with Kandi.

Marlo is a wannabe and doesn’t hold a candle to all the light Kandi shins on the show. Y’all need to leave Kandi alone! Also, I like Sheree but she forgets too, she’s nobody’s star. She needs to just be quiet especially with her choice in men. A convict and now a cheater that we saw for ourselves with another strong black woman trying to bring her down! Is this really the person you care to put your all and all in! He will dump her and continue to beg Melody to come back home! Bad news with Martel! Sheree get you a good man, you deserve one.
