It’s time for a change.
Puma is trying to move forward after Ceaser was fired from the show. He realized that they have to separate themselves from Ceaser. So Puma wants to open up a non Black Ink shop. But it’s when Puma says that the new shop’s location should be in Manhattan that Teddy starts to feel overwhelmed. And he doesn’t want them to forget about what their mission has been since the beginning. They are supposed to be a resource for black artists from humble beginnings.
Krystal and Rok were able to keep their shop Gods of Ink from turning into another Black Ink location thanks to Ceaser’s firing.
They aren’t on the best of terms. They broke up and Rok feels as if Krystal just didn’t want to do the work required to make their relationship work. And it hasn’t been easy for them to run a shop together now that they are no longer in a romantic relationship.
Everyone isn’t in agreement with Puma.
Puma decides to call a meeting with Teddy and the others to see who wants to be on board with the future of Black Ink. Spyder wants to be loyal to Ceaser. Ceaser is the one who put him on. So he will not work at the new shop. And Teddy won’t be a part of it if the new shop won’t be located in the hood. He doesn’t want them to forget where they came from.
The frustrating meeting confirms to Puma that it won’t be easy to start a new chapter.
What are your thoughts on the season premiere?
